Eh... first game did somewhere between 100-137K on the 360 and less than 100K on the PS3 in Jan 2010, so those seem a bit lofty.

I love Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2, and bought both the moment they went up on the eShop, but I think if the game had done serious numbers that there would've been tweets and press releases and celebratory announcements like what happened with Mario Kart.

Sony has this one in the bag. November is a huge question mark. Im still excited to see what info we can get this time around.

As bullish as I am on PS4 in general, I don't think there's any question about November NPD results: Microsoft will take the month fairly handily, though lifetime and worldwide success remains elusive. I wouldn't even be shocked to see a 2:1 margin of victory or better for Xbox One in the US for that month. December will likely be less drastic as the initial surge of sales comes down to sustainable levels with some new Sony announcements to sweeten the deal for prospective customers, and then the two will draft their plans for the New Year. All just opinion, of course.

October will clearly just be a continuation of the trend so far this year.

Agree.
MS/Xbone has November NPD easily in the bag imho.

I'm expecting:

1) Destiny
2) NBA
3) Smash
4) Borderlands
5) Sunset
6) The Evil Within
7) Alien: Isolation
8) Minecraft
9) Driveclub
10) Disney/Diablo/Lego

Should be fun NPD.

2:1 in favor of the Xbox One? Joke post?

I agree Microsoft will win next month but not 2:1. Using Amazon as a trend there was 3 Xbox bundles in the top 10 at the beginning of the month. Now there is only one and the PS4 is being consistent staying around the 10-13 spot the whole time. People who wanted the deal would have gotten it by now.

Black Friday is the wild card if an excellent bundle appears for PS4 it could take back some of the sales.

Not a joke. I don't think it's likely to be quite that drastic, but as I stated I wouldn't be shocked if it was. Never doubt the power of a steep discount on holiday purchase decisions. Amazon is still tracking > 2:1 for November but it's clearly settling downward as the initial demand dies off.

I predict PS4 this month (obviously), tossup next month. Hopefully Bayonetta 2 cracks the top 10. Will be sad to hear Vita #'s and games, I'm sure.

Maybe Bayonetta charted? 0_0

Gta5 releases this month. Apparently there is going to be a bundle with the PS4 and last of us. You're counting those chickens way too early if you are me.

Not sure how well 2 remasters will do since they both sold well on the PS3. It is a good bundle alright. The GotY bundle for the PS4 and the 900p bundle AC4/Unity for the Xbox.

I joke, I joke.
