She's not homegrown. She worked indies, mainly in Australia, for like six years before WWE signed her.
But I still want her to win badly because she and Billie have done so much work to get themselves over and they have such great charisma. She deserves credit for that. And I don't think Kairi should win it yet. I think she should chase it for a while.
Damn, six years is quite a stretch relative to some of the real green people that are in the PC.
Still, would it be fair to say the first champ that isn't one of HHH indie darlings?

She started really young. I think she debuted in like 2009 or 2010, but she's still only 24.
As for indie darling champs, Bayley wasn't. Not when she was originally signed. And it's only been a year and a half since she was champ. But other than her, yeah.

Why would he walk out if he already agreed to play that part unless they changed it after the deal was made?
Neville might have signed on to be the star Blade Runner and then found out he got killed off after 7 minutes of screen time and decided to bail.
Could just be he was looking for a reason to piss off WWE and leave, saw his opportunity and took it.
Whoa will keep an eye out and if I get time I'll definitely make the trip to see them in Melbourne.

I haven't read about the Neville stuff really, but it sounds like he left because he was unhappy? Sad, his character work was awesome, they really wasted him. 
They wanted him to job to Enzo again and he didn't want to so he left? So instead they make Enzo drop the title to Kalisto? Nothing makes sense.

Because of the weird stip they had with Enzo where anyone who touched him couldn't get a title shot, the idea was that Kalisto would face Enzo at TLC as he was the only one that didn't hit him. When Neville walked out, they just hotshotted it.

I can understand people thinking Neville is an unprofessional dick for walking out. For sure, it may not be a professional thing to do at all.
On the other hand, he fucking brought it since he got back from his injury. His character work and mic work improved by a crazy extent and he put all of himself into it. I can sympathize with him thinking "fuck this shit" when asked to job again to a mediocre dickbag everyone hates who shit-talks the business that makes him money like a disrespectful cunt.
Everyone says talent need to work with the shit they have to try and get over and it is clear he did. Being kicked to the curb to have the division built around someone else after all that effort would piss off most people. And if it wasn't an entertainment business nobody would know and people leave companies all the time over shit like this.

There's a bit of a the rockers situation where people think Ford is going to be a breakout star.
Really high on Patrick Clark, he might not make it into the WWE with the current gimmick, but hes very much into the role.

1. I'm assuming they get bumped up soon, so doubt it (to be honest I really like the fact that there's enough female talent to do a woman's show on the main roster, understand why they have to tour separately though).
2. It was 100% the ticket situation.
