My unwritten rule of metacritic is that almost everything that ascends past like 92 is always somewhat overrated, probably because in order to reach the mass appeal to get that high you gotta play some things safe or be too widely appealing in ways that hinder a game from certain angles.
I feel like the games I'd actually put up that high always hover somewhere around the 80-89 area.

Y'all don't want to start a best Zelda debate friend, people will be tripping over themselves to defend their chosen hero's honour while dumping on another, I for one am already preparing to dump on Anth0ny's beloved Wind Waker while defending Ocarina from Beef's dubious vidya game opinions.

Honestly, I am only curious about Heroman's take. I didn't really grow up with Nintendo and don't have a dog in that fight at all, even if it could be perceived that way. But fair enough too, this thread shouldn't devolve into shit flinging.

I think there's ownership issues of some sort, I know that's why they can't sell replicas for example. I agree on the current design being great, but Leather Rebels are consistently knocking it out of the park on belts, so I'm not worried.

The only sport I honestly like or follow is wresting and it isn't even real.
The absurdity of mainly watching NJPW isn't lost on me either. Pro wrestling is a fake sport where people pretend to hit each other then pretend like they are in pain. In NJPW people actually hurt each other then pretend it doesn't hurt.

I'm approaching my mid 30s and still prefer riding my bike in the woods with friends and got into BMX a little this year. I'm ok with having a child like heart & mind when I'm not at work. I don't care and don't want to be some stuffy fuck who slicks his hair, wears LL Bean fleece vests, etc
