For the record, Ready to Rumble was released April 7th 2000 and Arquette made his WCW debut on the 12th.
He would win the title on the 25th on an episode of Thunder; with Arquette teaming with DDP against Eric Bischoff and Jeff Jarrett, with the stipulation that whichever man got the pin would take the World Heavyweight Championship.
Arquette held the title for 12 days until the Slamboree PPV on May 7th when he was booked to defend the championship against Jarrett and DDP in a Triple Cage match, the same match featured in the climactic final scene of the Ready to Rumble film. In the end, he heel turned on Page and gave the victory to Jarrett.
