I highly doubt one guy running out to interfere is gonna stop Cena from winning. Especially after he mowed through them in that gauntlet the other night.
All he has to do is slap wade barret and Cena is DQed.

Its to try and not harm their talent, you don't need blood, you certainly don't need chairshots to the head.

If they really want to take care of their talent they need to reduce the number of house shows and trips to the rest of the world and stop hiring guys like Khali and Otunga than can harm their talent whit a botched move.

OK, and there's nothing wrong with that, but why are they putting so much emphasis on these match types NOW when they don't even WANT their talent doing anything crazy? It totally defeats the purpose of a "career shortening" Hell In A Cell match where the Cell isn't involved in the match, no weapons are used, and they have 2+ every year. HBK/Taker, and Mankind/Taker set the bar for the brutality people expect from this match, and if the superstars or management isn't willing to go there again, why bother?

My mate just asked me to order the PPV, and he would watch later tomorrow, and pay half price... I honestly don't even think this is worth €11 :/

I don't see how some US viewers even contemplate $40/€50 (?)

NEW JAPAN PRO WRESTLING TO RUN NORTHEAST UNITED STATES
By Mike Johnson on 2010-10-03 16:00:00

New Japan Pro Wrestling will be running at least three events in the Northeastern United States in 2011, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

Jersey All Pro Wrestling will be helping NJPW and working as local promoters for the events. NJPW used Jushin Liger earlier in the year and have plans for Liger to return shortly.

The early word is that NJPW will bring over a troupe of 12 wrestlers and that the first shows aren't slated until at least May 2011.

The no blood issue came directly from Linda McMahon. It had nothing to do with the safety of the workers. No one is disagreeing with chair shots to the head. But certainly don't build entire feuds and PPVs around the most extreme matches that normally involve violence, blood and stuff like that.

I'm still under the guise a PG professional wrestling show wreaks of hypocrisy. But that's just me.

I'm suprised Murdoch didn't pay for this one and charge us on Night of Champions.

I personally don't really mind the no blood rule - if it means no one blades that is fine

HOWEVER

Lets say tonight, in a HitC match, that someone accidently hits against the cage wrong and they start to bleed. Then:

- the match is halted
- idiot medics enter the cage
- run over to bleading person
- other wrester waners aimlessly for 5 minutes
- medics leave
- door shut
- match restarts

THAT IS BULLSHIT.

It breaks any sort of logic or illusion that the match is supposed to be hard hitting, "carrer shorting," or special in any way.

Can you imagine Mankind/Taker with this? HitC is too "extreme" for PG sadly.

You're right. Doing this kind of BS during pay-per-views... especially ones built around gimmicks where the intention is to brutalize your opponents with the assistance of inanimate objects (i.e. cells, chambers, ladders, chair, tables, sledgehammers, etc.)... is ridiculous and only serves to drive fans EN MASSE to UFC.

Worst example of this I can remember was the match stoppage when Christian got cut open by a ladder in his PPV ECW title defense against Shelton Benjamin last winter.

Prediction:

Cena loses, falls behind some view-obstructing prop, out jumps a bejorted Darren Young with a high and tight haircut.

"A deal's a deal, guys, guess I'm joining Nexus. No I'm not Darren Young, I'm John Cena. Well, you think I'm not, but that's because you can't see me. Remember? Guys?"

Cena goes on vacation, Darren Young plays the role for the next couple months.

"– Former WWE talent Ed Leslie (a/k/a Brutus Beefcake) said on the Miami sports talk radio show The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz Friday that he’s joining Hulk Hogan in TNA Wrestling. He noted they’re going to be “starting from scratch and going nWo style.”"

"– TNA Wrestling officials are hopeful that the disclosure of “They” at Bound for Glory will hook a number of fans to purchase the pay-per-view event. The widespread assumption amongst the TNA locker room is that “They” will be revealed as a combination of Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and possibly Jeff Jarrett."

Oh TNA...

Oh TNA...
:lol Thats just....absurd. I am hoping for "they" to be the AAA Lucha Libre wrestlers coming.

That would be disappointing for most people. As sad as it is, Bischoff, Hogan and possibly Jarrett would be the best combination. It would make absolutely no sense, but it would still be that "gasp" that TNA is looking for.

They is Matthew Hardy, Matt Hardy, Fat Hardy and Meth Hardy. It's gotten too obvious.

holy SHIT Rafa. I was just thinking about MATTHEW (remember, all caps). "I wonder what ever happened to him?" I asked myself. :lol :lol

I'm not getting my hopes up for whatever "THEY" is. It would be nice for it to be AAA wrestlers, but I guess we'll see.

The worst example of the no blood policy ruining a match was between Christian and Benjamin. It was a freaking ladder match. Benjamin had to stand around for 5 minutes when he could've just climbed the ladder and ended the thing.

This doesn't make any sense and I hope it isn't true. Bischoff/Jarret/Hogan already help run the creative vision of the company. They would essentially be taking over themselves.

I hope Daniel Bryan's arm has recovered from Night of Champions he was holding it through out that whole match

Oh, man. That match scared the shit out of me. I hope he got the get well card I sent. I gave him sour patch kids only to realize he's vegan and can't eat them. I hope he doesn't think I was trying to be ironic. :(

If Cena doesn't turn heel, I riot.

After the craptastic buys and ratings, they need to something big.

Cena doing a Hulk Hogan joins NWO style heel turn is the one big jolt they could give the company, but they will not do it.

I am sure that turn would knock up the ratings for a few weeks, and then they have a chance to keep whatever viewers they get from the jolt by keeping this interesting. Wont happen though.

In fact, even that turn would not be enough to turn things around right now, I don't think anything would be.

A redesign from the ground up is probably the only way to get wrestling super popular again

This. This. THIS. Cena heel turn would shake up WWE for the better. But think of all the crushed hearts that will see their favorite chain gang CeNation leader become evil?! It won't happen sadly... The innernet wrestling fan in me wants to say Cena was a better heel than he was a face but let me not say that. :D

For some reason another part of me says that NXT season 2 will come to aid Nexus to make the stable even stronger, but that's a stretch too.

RAW has been stagnant for weeks. Smackdo--RAW version 2 is sadly starting to be the same. Glad we still have NXT to lol about.

I just figured it out. We all heard how disappointed Vince was with the Nexus t shirt sales. So Cena loses and dons the N shirt. All the sheep proceed to buy Nexus shirts and when they sell out of their stock, Cena destroys the Nexus and goes back to selling his normal merch.

I said this at SummerSlam, I said it for NoC.

Nexus needs a big W tonight or the group literally served no purpose for the past 5-6 months.

Also, ffs, use Tweeners more. The Anti-Hero role has been huge in TV/Film for the past few years, and WWE refuse to use their wrestling equivalent. Edge is the closest they have to it, but they would work something much better.

That's supposed to be Orton, he RKO's everyone! He is the next Stone Cold!

really?

If Nexus were to win Cena would have to actually turn heel and be heel, not something like "I will destroy it from the inside!!1"

Edge has been irrelevant for years.

Not sure why he is even still wrasslin.

Yeah, Vince was disappointed by the merchandising sales. He hoped Nexus would be anti-heroes, and their merchandise would sell as such. Guess he didn't count on people actually having taste and refusing to buy those horrible looking shirts.
