Uhh...what fuck is this? Totally random.

Heels helping the heel defeat The Undertaker has happened multiple times: The first Burried Alive match with Mankind, At least one of the casket matches, probably more I forget.

RUN KOFI RUN!

Kofi has a Moja on his trunks, he's racist himself.

I'm surprised we didn't have a Ghana-Guyana battle durring the match with Cole reminding everyone that the two countries are on seperate sides of the Atlantic a million times.

I also like how the Burried Alive mound of dirt means only 1/2 the Pyro:lol

Holy crap! Has anyone seen this video of Hogan doing -- gasp -- ACTUAL WRESTLING moves? It's so bizarre. At point he even does a flip-over arm bar. I feel like I'm in bizarro world right now

Hogan was always a perfectly competent wrestler, he was over HUGE in Japan during his NJPW run and put on a number of great matches there, same goes for his stint in AWA before he returned to WWF and started the Hulkamania era. Check out his matches against Backlund and Fujinami in NJPW, also his match against Nick Bockwinkel in AWA was pretty good iirc.

*edit, Highspots have an awesome 3-disc set of Hogan's NJPW stuff;

Big Show was at my office today signing autographs and chatting. Really nice guy in person and the kids that were there just loved seeing him. They were just in awe of this gigantic guy towering over them that still had a big smile on his face.

The spirit of goodwill is dead - it was acquired in a hostile takeover by Hallmark and Disney, homogenized and sold off piece by piece.

No wait... that's romance.

Wow, that's pretty lazy. They just used the ones from last year and didn't even bother making new ones for the new roster members/people who have moved up the ladder.

some fine matches here, thanks again.

Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler rematch tonight on RAW. Bryan got the edge the first two times they interacted, Ziggler likely gets his revenge tonight.

Hell yeah. The match last night really sold me on Ziggler. I may have underestimated him when I said he'd be the next Billy Gunn.

They really should stop doing this stuff. Makes the PPVs even more worthless if you just give away the matches for free the next night.

Survivor Series needs to go back to being JUST Survivor Series matches - as it is, it feels like just another PPV, and I doubt this year will be any different, especially with so many other recent multi-man elimination matches. I was watching Survivor Series '89 last week and I really miss that special event feel all the old Survivor Series shows had, plus the team names were always more inventive, rather than just 'Team Boreton' or 'Team Cener'. I bet this years will have just one or two Survivor Series matches, probably Nexus vs Team WWE or some shit.

Adding the whole "you're fired" stipulation at the beginning of the match made no sense. How the hell could Barrett fire Cena? And The whole stipulation of if Cena doesn't do everything Barrett says, he's fired, makes no sense either. He's a member of Nexus, and Barrett is his defacto leader. But that doesn't mean the other guys can't stage a coupe.

This storyline was much better two years ago when it was HBK and JBL.

It was established on RAW weeks ago if Cena disobeys Wade, the GM will fire Cena. Therefore if Cena disobeys Wade, Wade will fire Cena. The other guys won't stage a coupe because without Wade they wouldn't have contracts in the first place.

It's so weird to see Abdullah the Butcher run the ropes. I worked a show with him in July 2009 and he couldn't even get in the ring. During his tag match that I refereed, he had to stand outside the ring on the floor the whole time in the same spot with people feeding to him so he could do his fork business.

I really think they will both be world champions in a couple years. Bryan is really taking to the WWE style of wrestling.

No, if Cena disobeys Barrett, then the GM -- not Barrett -- will fire him. Barrett just said last night "If you don't help me win this match, I'm firing you." Or something along those lines. He didn't order Cena to help him win. He just said if he didn't win, HE would fire Cena. Stupid logic. Besides, creative has been planting seeds of dissension amongst Nexus for a while. Otunga has already approached Cena on the side. I could see them moving with some storyline where Barrett is pissed he didn't win, and takes it out on Nexus, thus fracturing it. Stupid, but it's WWE.

Now do they make Survivor Series a series of elimination matches after SummerSlam and Bragging Rights?

I think each brand will have a SS match

Uppercard guys need something to do like I could see a team with Miz as captain vs. Nexus. At this point, it's no face at Miz's level.

Smackdown could have Team Edge with Kofi Kaval Rey and a random vs. Team Swagger(with DAT EAGLE) ADR that guy from ECW Ziggler and Curt Hawkins

Watching the ROH right now. Briscos vs. Kings of Wrestling.

And Survivor Series used to be great before they watered down the PPVs.

Royal Rumble (the big battle royal. Now...they have multiple battle royals...yawn)

Wrestlemania (the Superbowl of Wrestling...it was great when it was the only PPV, and they built up for it months)

Summer Slam (the second biggest PPV for WWF...now they have like a dozen others)

Survivor Series (elimination match...now we have Bragging Rights and Nexus vs. Raw...yawn...).

Knockout spoilers from TNA Impact tapings:

* Backstage, Tara has attacked Mickie James at catering. They’re fighting all over catering but there’s no actual food. They start hitting each other with trash. The lone cameraman gets knocked down. The ladies fight to the outside and a new camera is on. Madison Rayne helps Tara until The Beautiful People run out. We now have a full scale Knockouts brawl. Sarita runs out too. After a big fight, Angelina Love and Madison Rayne fight to inside the (Impact Zone. Velvet and Sarita make their way inside too. They fight up to the announce table. Backstage Tara and Mickie James are fighting their way in as well. Mickie dives off the guardrail onto Tara. Everybody is now in the ring fighting. Ric Flair and security is breaking it up. Tara hits Flair. Flair threatens to fight a girl. Mickie slaps Flair twice and he flops. Flair gets on the mic and asks what the hell are they doing? They all stop for a second and then they all start brawling again. Flair and security break it up again and makes a match for later: Mickie James & The Beautiful People vs. Madison Rayne, Tara & Sarita.

* Madison Rayne, Tara & Sarita def. Mickie James & The Beautiful People. Sarita wins via butterfly suplex on Sky

I approve.

Whenever you have reluctant tag team partners (two guys that dislike each other, who happen to team up) win a tag team title together, it has the potential to set up some very interesting storylines.

One idea I've thought of is that Cena and Barrett get into a war of words, which ultimately escalates into Cena pointing out that at least he has a championship to his name and Barrett doesn't. Barrett ponders this, and becomes increasingly jealous. Barrett decides to take the "easy" way to a title, and sets up a Nexus vs. Nexus match--Cena and Otunga vs. Barrett and another Nexus member. He instructs Cena to "lay down" for him, knowing that Cena is required to obey or risk getting fired. However, Otunga is miffed at the prospect of having to lose his title belt in the process (the highest point of his career), and he and Cena secretly plot a way for them to win the match without Cena having to throw the match to Barrett. The match becomes a series of "near-misses" with Otunga rescuing Cena for the win. By doing this, Otunga gets to retain his championship, and Cena gets back at Barrett by continuing to deny him a title belt.

Attended a concert last night and missed the PPV. Boy, am I glad I attended the concert. My mouth went agape in shock as I read the results. Sounded eminently boring.

Yeah the Cena-Barrett Story line is dumb, Cena should be afraid of getting fired instead of doing the whole still being himself and doing the whole "You didn't say X therefore technically I didn't disobey" garbage.

Cena coming out to Nexus Music...Finally.
