Yes it's free.

Fox downloaded a Styles and it had the Styles Clash, I believe.

I only made two CAWs myself, so far, and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I think most will find the game more fun than previous ones of '07-'10. Seems more focused on grappling than before, and even while reversing is relatively easier, it still seems more balanced.

Net, I assume you are just PS3? :\

All Community Creations are completely free, and yes Styles has his Styles Clash which is already in the game anyway. Even if it wasn't, you can download created finishers, and if the CAW has a created finisher attached to him, you'll download that too as I did with a Razor Ramon CAW earlier today.

360 actually, but the majority of my time is spent in singleplayer games, or with a bit of NBA 2K and Smackdown local multiplayer.

People discussing SvR in here and ignoring my gaming side thread :(

But yes, my Styles is fucking awesome. Tweaked one or two of his moves (thank you THQ!) and he's just as good as one made by Yukes.

Nice, are the caw options as deep as Firepro?

Buy the game new and it comes with a code for online. Rent / buy it used and you get a 7 day trial and its a $10 dlc afterwards. However, afaik, you need XBL Gold to access any online functions which blows for me because I NEVER play games online and I am NOT buying XBLG just for CAWs.

I find it funny that a company that routinely makes fun of thicker women on the roster is forcing them to eat fattening candy as a competition. Also, fucking shit the impact spoilers are out for 11/04 and this show looks even more horrible

iMPACT:

* Abyss vs. The Pope went to a no contest after Abyss attacked fans. Pope challenged Abyss to a match where his congregation would be lumberjacks. Abyss accepted.

* Eric Bischoff came out in karate gear with Ric Flair. They announce that Matt Morgan is not an Immortal and not good enough to be with them. Mr. Anderson must pin Bischoff tonight to get a shot at Jeff Hardy tonight. Bischoff gets into it with a referee and kicks him in the head, fires him and leaves.

* Backstage segment with Brian Kendrick and EV 2.0. Rob Van Dam comes in and argues. Fortune comes in and tells EV 2.0 to finish each other off. Rhino goes to hit the Gore on Styles but accidently hits RVD.

* Sarita beat Velvet Sky.

* Segment backstage with Fortune.

* Mickie James and Ink Inc. defeat Tara and Generation Me. The heels attacked the winners after the match.

* Jeff Jarrett comes out and cuts a promo on Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe. Jarrett finishes but Joe comes out and attacks him. Jarrett's security comes out to stop him but Joe takes them out.

* AJ Styles defends the TV Title against Rhino and RVD in a three-way and wins. RVD and Rhino get into it after the match. EV 2.0 comes out and RVD gets into it with Raven. Tommy Dreamer vs. RVD is announced for Turning Point.

* Douglas Williams lost to Kazarian. Ric Flair was on commentary and Beer Money watched from ringside. Storm got on the apron and Williams ran into him on accident. Everyone got into it after the match but Flair came in and got them on the same page again.

* Eric Bischoff comes out and calls Mr. Anderson to the ring. Bischoff is announced as the TNA kickboxing champion. Borash has to do ring introductions here and has to insult Anderson reluctantly. Bischoff ends up beating Borash up. Anderson's music hits but Matt Morgan comes out instead. Morgan lays Bischoff out and pins him. Morgan signs the contract and says he will see Jeff Hardy at Turning Point. Ric Flair comes out and cuts on Morgan. Flair helps Bischoff out of the ring and to the back.

They are redoing
the Eric Bischoff karate angle from WCW
:lol :lol :lol

They aren't even trying to hide it anymore

Smackdown
* WWE United States Champion Daniel Bryan b. WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler w/Vickie Guerrero (who was dressed like a cougar). Bryan pinned Ziggler.
Again? :lol

Hey atleast it is a good match. I don't understand how Ziggler and Bryan can jump back and forth between shows though?

Hey, there's no rule say.. oh wait

The split brand is a joke for the most part, people come and go as they please really.

I mean what, Rey is supposed to be on Raw in like 2 weeks?

That TNA is eh...

I am interested to see Douglas Williams vs. Kazarian, that could turn out to be a great match. I'm also glad Sarita won that match -- she's a great female wrestler and I'd only wish that they would do the same for Hamada, who is phenomenal. As for the whole Eric Bischoff thing...well...no comment. :D

Edit:

My thoughts on the Smackdown spoilers:

so the McIntyre and Dashing team is given a name only to disband afterwards? From the sound of the spoilers, I can only imagine that Rhodes looked greater than McIntyre for tearing the group apart and actually having promos (if that still happens weekly...) etc. You now have a singles' star, WWE. Better on the mic than DiBiase too. Here's hoping Cody's star doesn't fade and creative has something lined up for him.

I can dig Edge as number one contender. No problem with that. People would probably say they would rather it be Del Rio, since Edge had his fair share of title reigns. But, at that point, it would be heel vs heel. I don't watch Smackdown often, so I can only assume Del Rio's still a heel.

Daniel Bryan is still being pushed. See, that Sheamus stint meant nothing. Sheamus was built to look strong, but a few weeks later comically loses to Santino? Don't take what happens to heart at all in WWE, which brings me to my next subject...

Kaval losing again? Has he ever won a Smackdown match? I can't assume where they are taking this angle. Wonder what's up with that...

Possibly a push to unite the belts ala the Diva titles at Survivor Series?

I don't like the idea of unifying the midcard titles. I like the idea of having a top championship belt and a midcard belt on both shows.

Then again what do the belts have to do with anything anyway these days? I don't know, but a sole midcard champion for both brands seems too weird for me...

Midcard is depleted enough as is. There needs to be two midcard belts. I do wish they'd unify the championship though. It's just too watered down at the moment.

It's.... Sunny

It amazes me to see how good Sunny looks. Glad she lost all that weight amidst what happened in her life. A good inspiration... She's not that old either.

Yeah she was having it rough there for awhile

Apparently didn't fulfill her on-screen character of being straight edge. She was found drunk a couple times.
So, the angle about her drinking at a bar when Punk walked in was a bit of a work off of that?

It was meant to be a warning for her to start changing her ways. She didn't so got cut. Apparently she was frequently holding up tours because they would have to wait on her.

She couldn't control her behavior on the road and frequently made an ass out of herself at bars. She was told to stop and didn't. Thus, fired.

Why in the world she would blow a chance like that for a drink is beyond me, but I guess I can say that about anyone who would risk being in a good position for drugs/alcohol. TNA bound now, or do they not want anything to do with her either after that?

abstract alien said:

If TNA want her they will get her I'm sure. They don't really tend to care about stuff like that.

Apparently they were going to do a big wedding angle with her and CM Punk when they moved to SyFy too. She was finally starting to wrestle and becoming more than just the random girl w/ Punk / Luke / Joey and threw it all away, so sad.

Also, it looks like they will finally have to update Regal's titantron :lol . The King of the Ring is returning as a one night tournament for the 11/29 three hour Raw.

King of the Ring? Sweet.

Also, seems WWE signed someone new.

NoDQ.com said:
WWE's newest acquisition is Heritage Championship Wrestling champion "The Future" Donovan Ruddick.

Ruddick has signed a developmental deal and was at the Bragging Rights PPV this past Sunday as well as the TV tapings this week.

Ruddick has worked with the likes of Tyler Black and Claudio Castagnoli recently, working with HCW and The Lethal Wrestling Alliance.

Has anyone heard of this guy? He looks alright physically, and he's black -- more diversity is always great.

Soon the IWC will say say Bryan has power back stage and buries other talent.

What if Regal wins the tourney again? Then his Titantron can live on forever! :D
(And, even if he doesn't, a 2 1/2 year reign is mighty impressive.)

And yeah they were getting ready for a big push for Her and Punk. With her being fired and the various injuries it basically killed the SES right away.

Skinnier Orlando Jordan. I should probably check out some matches.
He looks about as puzzled as I did upon seeing this pic at first.

I really hate it shit went sour, but Punk will make it. The SES will be revived somehow, I hope.

king of the ring was one of my favorite ppvs. one night, one tournament, the wrestlers who advanced would look tired as the night went by. and you root for people. it was awesome. the tournament had no meaning spread over 4-5 weeks of raw.

ppvs like rumble, king of the ring, survivor series were fun because they each had something unique, but they somehow decided to get rid of those and make crap like "over the limit", "fatal 4 way", "money in the bank." cant wait for this naming events with match gimmicks crap to end

They're holding Bryan down with
this feud with Ziggler
. Have him feud with CM Punk.
They want Bryan to be the last ever us champion before they unify them into the WWE Universe. Champion, that is not holding him down.

This feud isn't holding down Daniel Bryan at all. He is elevating Ziggler and having consistent and lengthy matches with no shennanigans or outside interference.

I just came across something that I wanted some others' opinions on, yet I'm sure the subject matter may change the mood of people here, and I apologize beforehand.

Wrestler deaths. Is there any wrestler death past and recent that still "hit you hard"?

I was googling something earlier, and randomly (as google is known for showing you pictures unrelated to what you're searching for), one of the images showed Eddie Guerrero. To this day, I still can't believe he unfortunately passed away, even when he was getting his life in order.

He was entertaining both on the mic and in the ring. I've never cried for someone's death unrelated to my own immediate family, but I was damned close for Eddie. RIP.

Umaga (Eddie Fatu)'s death still hits me from time to time, too. I remember word on the internet saying that the Umaga character would speak, and I was interested oddly in that. I loved 3 Minute Warning, and Jamal was my favorite part of it.

My sister was watching the Cyndi Lauper video to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" a few days ago and Captain Lou Albano was in there. I did not grow up watching wrestling when he was around, but I atleast knew who he was, and his passing surprises me when I forget, too...

I guess some of you guys take everything said in this thread too seriously sometimes. :lol

Nah, I've really enjoyed the feud so far. Best wrestling I've seen on WWE in a while. I'd love to see him going against Punk though.

Don't worry

Wrestling is serious business.

The only problem is.. not much of a "feud" a match thrown together for a PPV on the same week, and this is their 3rd encounter in 5 days.

They really should/could have stretched it out. Match at Bragging Rights, match at Survivor Series then a blow-off. Would elevate both titles and give them something to do

...
I'd say Eddie's hit me pretty hard, I had looked up to him a lot and had even set my sights on meeting the guy. It really came as a shock because I wanted to believe so badly that it just wasn't real, I just really couldn't grasp his death. Every now and then I look up some old promos of his or listen to his theme on youtube, just brings a smile to my face.

Oddly enough, I was a huge Crash Holly fan. I loved how he was always giving the image of himself as a super heavy weight, and I damn near fell into tears when they started to announce his weight as 400+ pounds. I didn't see him for a few years and I just assumed he was released and went on with his life, but then wwe played a video of all the fallen ones and when I saw he was on there, it hit me pretty hard :^(

eddie guerrero one was sad, but chris benoit's hit me harder. i grew up watching him come into the fold in wcw then the radicals, invasion, royal rumble and then main event. when we used to fool around in the backyard as kids everyone used some moves out of benoit's moveset on eachother.

at least eddie is in the hall of fame with dvds, tributes and everything, what happened to benoit's legacy is just depressing. one of the best workers of all time is just basically removed from history. it made me tear up more and more as the stories about abuse and past troubles kept getting more detailed back in 07, just couldnt believe what was happening.
