I would just like to say, I haven't watched wrasslin' in forever, but I caught Morning Raw randomly, had to stop because I did not know my boy Jericho was back. Awesome, love the fella. I also like how No Mercy is actually the same matches that it was five or six years ago for the most part.:lol

Actually, this I disagree with you on.

The WWE main event scene is pretty different at this point.

5 yrs ago it was hhh vs the likes of people such as Booker T, Scott Steiner, Shawn Michaels

5 yrs ago it was Kurt Angle versus the likes of Brock Lesnar and Big Show

Now its HHH versus people like brian kendrick, Great Khali , MVP, Jeff Hardy

Jericho with punk, orton, cena, batista

So? Look at the card. It's the exact same people in the exact same spots as they were five years ago. The Hardys are still there as jobbers to the stars, Mark Henry is still getting pushed, and you will never lose a bet by assuming Trips is champ. The only difference is they have different women fighting now.

Shit, they're actually letting people who can put on amazing matches into the main event now?
Does it matter? They all have their WWE Five Moves of Doom.

Survivor Series poster revealed:

Looks like Orton is finally making his in-ring return :D

No, they all have signature moves as ever wrestler in history has had. The difference is they don't end their matches in exactly the same way, Punk in particularly likes to work his opponents countering the moves that they know is coming. On top of that they know how to pace a great match and implement psychology in the ring, I really don't know what more people can ask for?

Find me a single match in WWE where this has been true and it's been a great match. I've seen a few dozen Punk matches in WWE, and they've all been repetitive, predictable snoozers. He just sets up his moves instead of telling a story.

It changed to Mynetwork TV. Go to the MyNetwork TV site and find out where the channel is at.

The main event is bullshit. Meh...

It's not the moves that bother me. They're just so dull. TBK has really won me over though. Best interim WWE champion ever.

As for TNA, they've sold me on Jarrett/Angle.

ECW should be a completely separate product. It should be a proving ground for young superstars and also be a little edgier and violent than Smackdown and Raw. They have plenty of young talent.

Why not just create a tri-monthly ECW ppv or maybe create an online alternative?

Is Pauley not involved in ECW anymore?

And how come Jericho doesn't seem to have any energy or humor?

Paulie hasn't been involved since it came back. Vince paid him to sit home until his contract expired.

Jericho has changed. He's "tired of being a clown, and it's time for people to take him seriously". So, he's a pretty hardcore heel now. HE and Michaels will steal the show tonight for sure.

I wouldn't be against Michaels winning and going for another title run...

Triple H vs Jeff Hardy for the WWE Championship

Sucks to be Hardy

Matt Hardy vs Mark Henry for tthe ECW Championship

Batista vs JBL

Sucks to be JBL

The Big Show vs The Undertaker

Sike

"The Glamazon" Beth Phoenix vs Candice Michelle for the WWE Women's Championship

Rey Mysterio vs Kane

Take off the mask Kane.

Hate to say it. Edge, Orton, HHH, JBL, etc have him outclassed in that regard. He just doesn't have any energy. And sometimes you have to stick to what works. Though they may have gone heel, the Rock, Angle, Austin, Flair, etc all stuck to what got them popular in the first place while being despicable, dirty cheats.

wrestling must be very boring nowadays :lol

Wrestling isn't boring if you just look at WWE and TNA.

There's the old and new AJPW/NJPW/NOAH matches. There's even CMLL to satisfy you. Dragon Gate. ROH is always coming out with amazing PPV's that are blowing out the WWE and TNA in terms of wrestling matches. Wrestling is far from boring if you only look at the 2 national giants.

The problem with Jericho is that since he came back he has come across as just another script reader. (Yes I know he has said that he is not scripted- maybe it is just trying to be more 'professional' instead I don't know but it is not Jericho)
There is no real fire to it, and he does not look like he is having fun like he used to.
Plus switching to the He-Man undies is the gateway to boredom.

I've enjoyed Jericho in his current role, but I wonder how well it will work once he branches off his fued with HBK.

Actually, the WWE has remedied one of their long standing problems of having characters in roles that are just too similar.

Edge, Jericho and Orton are probably the WWE's 3 biggest heels and while they are all sneaky and cheat, they are also very different characters. Especially Edge who went from someone who always needed assistance to a serious threat especially during the HiAC match.

The only match worth anything tonight will be the ladder match. I'l be happy to find that in "other ways" afterwards. I dont expect anything exciting to happen during the PPV so I dont think there is any need to hunt after lamps.

justin tv usually has a decent selection of table lamps.
While not the best quality, it is better than the dark.
The WWE shut darn near all of them out last month.

justintv doesnt seem to be having lamp issues at all tonight. quite the variety to light the way. Some very nice lamps with no issues

Jtv is a nice portable lamp for while I am at work, when I get home I prefer SOP because even side glancing at the chat on jtv makes me want to listen to the voices in my head.
