DX Reunion part 35!

They should've given this storyline more time or do something to extend it.

Morrison and Miz and can shit all over the legacy of the "Greatest tag team of the 20th century"

You could basically count on 1 hand how many times HHH and HBK tagged up in 97

Miz and Morrison were gold vs. Cryme Tyme...imagine how much over they would be with a few weeks of DX trashing? They could re-do the DX titantron with people running away from giant old men and show footage of old people peeing in a bag.

This match has no logic or reasoning but it can be saved tonight!

Tyrus Thomas you dumbass

but not as dumb as the ECW booker!

Why do you keep putting Chavo and Bam on the same team after we've seen them turn on each other each week?

fuccccccccccck
:lol

i was watching ECW about Jack Swagger then I flipped and forgot

my bad

while I'm here.....

How many time has HHH and HBK been tag team champs?

not as many as Morrison and Miz!

Evan Bourne tore ligaments in his ankle during the six-man tag match that aired during last night's ECW on Sci-Fi. He has been advised to rest up and keep weight off the ankle. Although doctors
told him he could miss up to four months. he is hoping to make a faster recovery and may work through the injury.

No one seems to know where former WWE/WCW wrestler Perry Saturn is. Some of his closest friends actually believe he's not alive, but no one has proof one way or the other. At the funeral of Killer Kowalski, the whereabouts of Perry Saturn was the number one topic of conversation with a number of his friends saying they didn't believe he was still alive. Every few months or so, his friends ask Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer to do a missing persons search on him, but it always turns up with nothing.

Nooo! The most exciting new talent in WWE is now injured...

Hope he has a speedy recovery. The match he had with Hardy at Cyber Sunday was one of the best I've ever seen.

Anybody miss the Jericho that feud with Michaels? Yeah... me, too! Blame Vince.

- You may have noticed that Chris Jericho's character has changed a bit lately. When the RAW ratings continued to tank, Vince McMahon blamed that partly on Chris Jericho. Vince felt that Jericho was playing the character the wrong way, being hard with the fans and blaming them for everything.

Vince felt like the fans wanted a whiny heel character that always complained about losing and everything else. We can't confirm this, but this likely played a factor in the decision to take the World Heavyweight Championship off Jericho and give it to Batista at the Cyber Sunday pay-per-view. At one point, plans had Jericho holding the World Title through December.

Your match of the week is on RIGHT NOW....

Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley vs Hiroshi Tanahashi & Volador Jr.

No reason WHY they've brought these 2 in, but hey I'm not going to complain. The rumor is that TNA signed Tanahashi or is close to signing him.

Tanahashi's put on quite a bit of muscle mass in the past year. He looks completely different.

EDIT: Strike that... the match wasn't as good as it could have been. Volador and Hiroshi didn't do much.

It's that time of the year again when we get to rag on the quality of the Smackdown series.

I downloaded the demo for the Ps3 tonight and this game just seems off. I think because most of the improvements (?) have been made in a very selective mode.

The game has changed the whole finisher system again to something they used in SvR 08 for the Wii. Where the wrestler gets a trademark/signature move in addition to a finisher. The only difference is you have to store the trademark and use the finisher. Oddly enough if have both it goes finisher first. So you can't do Triple H's spinebuster to set up for the pedigree. Although, you can do HBK's flying elbow to set up for the superkick. Guess it depends.

I'm gonna buy it :(

Custom themes, create a finisher, plus the ability to make anyone from wcw is worth it alone.

Although, I hate the roster. Not gonna use anyone on it.

Sucks Austin and The Rock aren't in it though, but it should be really easy to create them.

Just wait for the WWE Legends of Wrestlemania game in a few months

I haven't followed this game much but much of the improvements for the tag matches seem to incorpate the need for human partners or for you to control the person outside the ring. Like the hot tag can only be activated when you are on the apron.

The tag moves for the most part don't seem much different than the ones in previous games aside from tag team finishers and stuff.

I like that a team shares a special meter, but could imagine that becoming a pain at times as well especially if one person does all the work and you tag in the fresh man to hit his finisher.

The flow of the game somehow feels worse than all previous Smackdown games. Maybe its because I played the TNA game. The moves lack impact I don't know if the sound effects are turned down or toned down.

I tried to go back to Smackdown after playing TNA Impact and I just can't do it......
Impact just "flows" so much better and actually FEELS like youre in the wrestling match, not the slow plodding mess SD vs Raw has become.

I'm just hoping Midway doesn't stop production on Impact 2, I think they are on their way to something really special. Most fun I've had playing a wrestling game since No Mercy.

But, I'm a sucker and i'll still buy Smackdown 09

I traded in iMPACT! to help pay for Fable II. Was a fun game. Better than SD! for my money. Both suck in quite a few areas though

Well the main difference being one is a first attempt made from the ground up, the other being the series 9th time out and STILL having HUGE issues.

This weeks TNA was epic. MEM vs TNA Originals storyline is handled really well, and the booking team seems to be new, cos all the matches were awesome, and upcoming Turning Point has great lineup.

Nice work TNA, cant wait to see next week!

TNA is starting to come around. They just need to develop some young stars outside of Joe and Styles.

I think Alex Shelley should get a main event push sometime next year. Eric Young as well.

Mr. Sam said:
God I hope Shelley gets a push. The guy is talented by pretty much anyone's standards.
But hes an asshole to everyone IRL, so that won't happen.
Every time they get a push going for him, he starts bitching and whining about something. Dragging Sabin down with him.

HE's VERY talented, but his ego is that of a tenured main-eventer and then some.

seeing that casket match reminded me on Smackdown 2 for PSX how you could pick the casket up and swing it around like a chair....that was great.
