Most notable cuts for NYG are David Tyree and Rhett Bomar.

Bomar is a guy I'd like them to put on the PS and try to get more out of. He's still a raw player, but he has more upside than Woodson, who was also cut, which is not a surprise at all.

Also dealt TE Michael Matthews to New England for a 2011 draft choice.

i heard justin harrell was put on IR for the packers and is saying his career maybe over. what a colossal bust :lol

Ya, he said in an interview like 2 weeks ago he thinks his career might be done. Kinda sucks, I've been hoping he turns it around.
It really wasn't a horrible pick at the time though. I beleive when we drafted him it was a torn bicep he had from his last season in college. This nagging injury now is from him hurting his back lifting weights last offseason, which is also one of the reasons we hired a new str/conditioning coach.

But ya, keep laughing FMT;p (cough)
Alex Smith
(cough)

edit: on a sidenote, wonder if trading Moll and releasing Meredith is opening the door for Tauscher to come back, cause our backup tackles are suspect.

Wouldn't mind NYG looking at Pollard.

They only have three on the roster, and C.C. Brown has struggled so far (he's #3).

After watching the E:60 Steelers SB winning drive clip, I'm now convinced Holmes' right foot didn't touch down in bounds. They should change their name to the Stealers.

Chiefs cut Bernard Pollard. Wow.

On the non-relevant list, they also cut Lelie.

That's pretty crazy. Dude should be getting a payraise after what he did last season in a certain game, not losing his job :lol

I wouldn't be suprised if the pack go after him now, with Anthony Smith cut.

I'm convinced that you're an idiot, we should probably change your name to something more appropriate, douchefuck seems fair.

And his name will be as forgotten as that Roman who stabbed the first incarnation of the Messiah on the Cross.

Longinus, bro. Learned that shit in Evangelion.

He'd be a great investment for the Dolphins or the Jets--just pull him out twice a year to take a stab at Brady.

I know not much is sacred to followers of the Dark Lord, but the Messiah is the name I gave to Ben Roethlisberger as he was the on sent to the NFL to deliver us from the evil grasp of New England.

Please don't ever refer to the Dark Lord as anything other than what he is. An unholy asshole of Biblical proportions.

And that's why we need a guy who can fight for that one yard; neither Parker, Moore, nor Mendenhall have proven they can consistently get that one yard on their own accord. I'd love for our line to improve its run blocking but I can't say I'm all that confident it will, I don't think we have the strength up front to blow people off the ball at will...
I don't even know if Brandon Jacobs could have gotten a yard behind our line. From what I remember our biggest problem was at center. Whenever we needed that inch or yard it always seemed like Hartwick would get blown off the ball like there was a bomb under his ass and the D-line was 3 yards into our backfield by the time the ball was handed off.

I can't imagine it can be as bad this year.

Joe Zalenka got cut, he was so damn entertaining.:(

Tony Pashos getting cut is a huge surprise though, those rookies better perform on the line!

Also, Jags trade for Luke McCown.....eh.

niners better be on the fucking phone NOW with this guys agent. he would be perfect at RT for us

Glad we got something out of McCown. Josh Johnson is a pretty talented kid so I was hoping we'd find a way to keep him on the team. McCown was going to be a stop-gap once we signed Leftwich, may as well cut ties sooner than later.

:lol

:D Time warp back to February.

We all know the Steelers are the undisputed champs of the world, looking forward to the repeat this year.

Damn Seahawks cut their worst starter from last year Brian Russell and replaced him with local boy and one of the most famous alumni from my first HS, Lawyer Milloy!

Although I hope Babineaux gets the starting nod.

Time to make the same moves in Madden!

POWAY, Calif. (KABC) -- San Diego Chargers linebacker Shawne Merriman was arrested early Saturday on suspicion of assault.

A spokeswoman for the for the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said Merriman is accused of choking and restraining television reality show hostess and model Tila Nguyen. Nguyen also known as Tila Tequila and previously hosted a reality show on MTV.

lollerskates roid rage!

also:

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the New England Patriots have traded defensive end Richard Seymour to the Oakland Raiders for a first-round pick in the 2011 draft.

wow wtf? this is a good move for the pats in the future, but this kills their D-line for this year. yeah they have wilfork but seymour was a big part too.

at least the raiders can't fuck up the slotting system in 2011 again!
