And apparently, a list of the Crucible game modes got leaked from am image of the Destiny smartphone app. Someone from Reddit found it.

I think it's only in the middle of a life without dying that you don't receive ammo. Once you die and respawn whatever you have equipped currently will receive ammo.

That smartphone app will devastate many relationships, friendships and careers.

Having such a tease available for such addictive game available on your reach all the time - and feeding your inner junkie with new things to do - will be the Shiva of the Generation.

I will install that, but I am already frightned about everything.

That's too bad, although I have faith that the other modes will kick ass too. Control was imo an awesome mode anyway.

The clan business. Pretty easy.

One group that shall act as an alliance, a main clan under which many sub clans will be under an umbrella.

The different sub-clans shall be created later.

That would be the case when Bungie hasn't revealed much of anything about it. :P

I'm personally expecting: Old Russia, one or two more multiplayer maps, Sepiks Prime strike, that story mission in the Alpha, and the Tower.

What I would not be surprised to see them add: One more strike mission, one more story mission, and an increase in the level cap.

I wouldn't mind the same content as Alpha. The less content I go through before the actual release the better.

I saved my Titan playthrough for the Beta anyway so I have something to look forward to regardless.

I usually try to avoid betas so I don't get burnt out, but I am too weak when it comes to Destiny. All I want from this beta are some more crucible maps.

Same here, people need to understand that one of the main purpose of this beta is simply a bigger "server stress test". Bungie will show us some new contents, but don't hold your breath too much GAF.

Limited Edition available in France: here (and the Ghost Edition here)

I want a physical edition but i know buying it on US PS Store is more reasonable.

I just preordered just in case I decide I want it! I already have the guardian edition digital download. What am I doing.

Edit: Ok my brain just clicked on and I removed the preorder. I really want that ghost toy yet don't want it at the same time.

I thought about the $150 edition but I'll probably end up going with just the game. The CEs are cool but I'm sure they'll drop in price really quickly. If I end up liking Destiny I'll just purchase the standalone season pass. I don't want to preorder any of them though, especially with the whole PS exclusive DLC in the DLC itself thing.

Game + DLC = $95 dollars.

I'd be waiting awhile to buy the season pass (if I even bought it at all). I'm not a huge fan of them in general, and the last/only one I bought was Halo 4 and I ended up regretting that immediately lol.

Though yeah, if I have enough disposable income come September and there are copies on shelves, I'll probably pick up the LE. Depends on the beta too.

Seeing as the Ghost edition sold out online within the first day, I highly doubt it will be dropping in price. Bungie said it will actually be limited in number, unlike many "collector's" editions. Not sure about the LE, though.

FWIW Bungie said the exact same thing for Halo 3 and Reach

Some will, yeah. The perpetual nature of this game though means that if people have enjoyed the Alpha/Beta there's a good chance they'll still be playing Destiny. If not by itself then at the least aside all these other games.
 
Didn't get a chance to really test drive the alpha too much. Can someone who did play it tell me how well balanced the game is? Will those who find more loot and who level up their characters through the SP be at an advantage?

That's what I figured, just wondering if it was an actual limited release, or Halo 3 type release. I don't care, but it does take away the whole 'limited' aspect. As to your edit... I guess we'll see.

No one, other than resellers, are buying it for the limited sake, but to a collector, the limited aspect is important. LOL!!!!

Leveling up your gear will give you a slight more advantage than leveling up your character. But you can level up your gear playing multiplayer. You can also get new gear playing multiplayer. You also get multiplayer 'points' for playing and that's kinda like your multiplayer standing in a way and there is an NPC in the Tower that sells good weapons to high standing multiplayer players.

Basically what I'm saying and I think is true is you could technically just play multiplayer and still have competitive/good gear.

That being said, you can still be plenty competitive with just basic gear as damage is balanced by gun class, not the specific gun. So every sniper rifle is doing the same amount of damage as other sniper rifles. Someone might just have a different scope or faster reloading or things like that.
