We can hope. I mean I really want a Fable II: Lost Chapters in some form or another (DLC would make sense in this age. But I'd buy an expansion disc if it were $20 at most.) but has anything even been announced? And can the game even support DLC? There isn't an option. But I guess they could patch it were some DLC to come out?

Well there is the Bonus dungeon in the Limited Edition so DLC should work.

I got Garth, Lucien, Reaver, Hammer, Teresa... I guess I need the hero doll only, but Grecco says it's at the general store? Yet no doll is in the general store?

Help so I can pass the dolls on! :lol

I am pretty sure that one you have to get from the online pre story at fable2.com that is where I got mine anyway. Once you complete the pre story you should be awarded it and it will show up in that chest of your ancestors in the guild.

That's accessed through a whole different mechanism. There's no real "Downloaded Content" button in the UI for extra stuff. That dungeon is already on the disc. All you have is a code to unlock it.
 
I did that puppet show thing on fable2.com, i never got a hero doll out of that.

In any case, if someone DOES have a hero doll, can they send it my way so I can finish this?

Thanks Amir0x! I have the dolls now and will be at the clock tower for the next 30 minutes or so. GT: Definity
 
For some reason i thought the Hero Doll was from the GS. I know it wasnt in the silly shooting range thing


Also if anybody has the Dog Tricks Roll over book and can send it to me i can share the completionist achievment

A travelling weapons trader has the Master Blunderbuss... I saw him on the road from Bower to... one of the wooded areas outside it. Sorry I forget the name, I want to buy that blunderbuss too.


I think I broke a quest in this game, did this happen for anyone else?
The "Til Death do we Part" quest where you seduce a ghosts girlfriend to break her heart. I seduced her, married her, and killed her. Now the ghost ignores me and the quest can't be finished.

And can someone give me a hint as to how far along in the game I am?
I just beat the crucible, and have yet to activate the next quest.They keep saying stuff like, "Do all your quests! Finish your buisiness!"

You have a decent way to go...when they say that a second time later in the game then the main quest is almost done.

i have not gotten a thing of the fable site and finished it 3 times over.

so anyone still on and if so where are we meeting to trade stuff?
i got lots o money i can spare if worth the trade.
 
Been working through the game at a real snail's pace but the final quest is finally available after about a week. It's disappointing how easy it is to get powerful weapons like the Daichi and the Enforcer (which makes a noise like that "gun" from No Country For Old Men, lol).

I've still got some excess quests to polish off though, so I'll do those before making a sprint for the finish. I got bored of that halo above my head, so I took on an assassination mission where one of the criteria was to "leave no witnesses". I only ended up killing about three people! Still, halo's gone.

And it turns out even my whore wife has standards. I hadn't visited her in her Westcliff shelter since the kid was born (and she gave me my sixth STD!). I go back there and she tells me to piss off. I decide to let this one live; she's a whore, what did I expect? I give the kid a cheeky thumbs up as they wonder off though - I reckon the balverines will get 'em before long. Dumbasses.

Gonna see if I can set up some recording equipment and upload a massacre onto YouTube. Should be fun with my new ultra-powerful weapons. MEEO-CHAK!
 
So the last achievement I need for this game is the Completionist one.

I'm checking my log book and it says I need to get the "Beg" ability for my dog and a couple expressions in my "Scary" section.

Anyone know where I can get said Beg ability for my dog?

So I took it. And it autosaves right after you do. Don't regret it, will give me a chance to hit on that hot lesbian in Oakfield
 
i'll be on in 5 minutes if anyone wants the dolls. Again my GT is "Goonyboy" and i will be hanging around the camp fire in the gypsy camp.

Edit : Actually oh fucking shit we may have a problem...after recieving the dolls from another member last night i exited the game without saving. Now i look in my items and the dolls have gone. Anyone have an idea where they might be? Will they have gone back to the previous owner? SHIT!
 
Any chance I can get in line for the dolls? I'll be logged in right now for a bit. My GT is PetriesLastWord and I'll be in the Bowerstone town square under the clock tower. Would be very appreciated.

You know, for the dolls, if you co-op, my understanding is that the guy who owns all five dolls can sell one to a shop then rebuy it and the other person will get the achievement.

That's how I got mine anyway.
 
Hi. I've tried to search this thread, but didn't see this mentioned.

I keep disconnecting from Xbox Live every 5 minutes or so, but ONLY when playing Fable 2. With any other game, or while on the dashboard everything is fine, but while playing Fable 2 I'm constantly getting signed out.

Is this issue known? Is it widely spread? Is there a way to stop it from happening? I know some people have had the same problem on the official Lionhead forums...

Interesting... I've been having the same thing happen. I've never had it happen before in any other game so I thought it was a bit strange.

When you gift them to someone else the game auto saves and removes them from your items.

I think they are lost.

Guys i am so so sorry. Really. I dont know why i didnt save before i quit to the dashboard. I've never done that before.

I have a Garth doll if we want to start this all up again.
 
I have the Hero doll from fable.com...I still have to get the doll from the shooting range but it's freaking hard...:D

Btw...how do I get the archmage achievement...it's not really specific. I managed to foce push 5 bandits off a cliff once but I didn't get it. :/ Tips?

I charged up to a LV 4 or 5 Lighting and got it in the Bandit Coast.
