Nah there isn't. But so far all the adult things can be avoided.
So nothing in particular jumps out at you without warning? He's not worried about the violence etc... but I don't think he'd be particularly happy to try and explain a hooker and a condom to his kid. :D

Well nothing has yet. I think you can buy condoms in the general store, but otherwise all good. Oh and if you're in a slummy area then occasional a trampy looking woman might call something suggestive out, but it's more of a nudge-nudge wink-wink sort of thing, nothing serious.

That's good to know. I know my son would like to play co-op. I think there still may be a little too much blood for him though.

Thanks muchly. Should be fine.

Rez>You where did you get the game? your from melbourne right?

I only played a couple hours last night and really enjoyed it. I haven't played long enough to give any real impressions but I do like what I see so far. I can tell you having the dog there by your side is really, really cool. I wasted an hour or so playing fetch and digging up treasures he would find. It really adds something to the game IMO.

The only thing I don't really like so far is the yellow objective trail that is always present. I actually turned it down to low and I may turn it off all together. I think it's a great idea for casual players and they should always know where to go but I kind of like finding out things on my own.

I also used the proximity chat a couple times last night with other players in the game world and that is one awesome feature.

I think I'm going to try and track down my friends (if they are in my game world) in Fable 2 and scare the shit out of them when I speak to them. (If I can find them).

I'm kinda torn on the trail thing. I was kinda turned off by it initially and was going to turn it off but I think it's a nice alternative to having a mini map. But I can see why some may not like it. At least there is the option to turn it off.

Sorry if this has been asked or answered in various interviews/previews about the game, but here's what I'm wondering:

My understanding is the game uses a single button for sword combat and have they gotten rid of the block/guard button (used to be only left trigger I think?).

Is that right?

When you're fighting and want to block or parry an attack you hit the sword button and time it to coincide with the attacker's swing?

If so, how well does that work?

I never realized that orbs thing with people in your buddy list until it was mentioned above.

I haven't really been paying attention to the media, but it is actually explained in this video around 4:00 in this video:

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/41556.html

Sounds awesome.

Awesome vid.

Already seen it!

There is way too much colour in this game! I think I'll have down manually tone down the colours on my TV!

Absolutely love the color, the pop, all of it.

I havent been following this game to well before but now i have really started looking at this more and all the vids i have seen really makes me want it. Just a question though i see that you can sleep with whatever girls you want but is there a option for same sex stuff?

Not that it's important but it would be a even sweeter deal for me. Already one of the two 360 games i am getting with my Arcade this winter.

What happens with the quests and story in co-op? I mean, people aren't always at the same place at the same time in the story, so how does it handle it? and completed quests?

I don't have the game, but I'm pretty sure how it works is that one player joins the other player as a guest in their game. The host is the main player, so whatever state the world is currently in in that player's game is what the two players will play through.

When the guest returns to his game, he'll have gained experience, gold, and items, but the state of his game will be where he left it. Any quests completed, or things done in the other player's world will not carry back to your world if you are the guest.

This is like real life, I don't want to play real life. How is the combat and skill trees? How do you think the game will be in co-op? I'm looking for something like Too Human, but fun.

You don't have to do any of that stuff.

That's no my point, I want to hear what is fun that is not like "take the chick bowling" crap in GTA4. In other words, the core of the game.

after seeing pics of the spartan armor with sword i am itching to pick up the CE .....somebody stop me plz...thanks :D

Believe I'm going to upgrade as well if they will let me at this point, and I rarely buy CE's. Last one I bought was Bioshock's, but I want that extra dungeon.

Yeah, that trailer shows off just how lush the visuals are. It really makes the wait that much harder.

It's going to be pretty crazy with the player orb thing when the game drops for everyone. I was just in Browerstone with about 8 other people and you hear them talking and having convos when you pass by. Its very cool but I dont think i'll have it on much. Maybe for friends only.

For those that played the web games ( http://fable2.xbox.com ) and have played Fable 2 already do you know if all the items you can win via choosing the different crowns get transferred over to your world in Fable 2?

It is just I've got the Chicken suit and I want to know if it is fine for me to pick the other crowns as well, so I can obtain all the items and it won't overwrite the last gift I was given.

They were all there.

And wait, I thought the co-op patch wasn't out? It is?

I got prompted for a patch when I started the game this morning. I haven't tried online co-op yet but I would assume this is what it's for.

Can anyone confirm if the Euro Version has different multilanguage voice acting? I want this game so badly now, but I just can't stand the german voice acting regardless of perfection. For me, video games speak english!!

Yeah, those of us who started playing yesterday had that patch prompt, too, but I thought I heard someone say that online co-op still wasn't working. I haven't thought to try it, yet.

Block is the first skill you learn in the Brutal Style tree. You do it by holding down x. Counters are a higher level skill in the same tree that are done by hitting x at the right time.

Maybe they've made that crap fun and a part of the core game here? ;) Though obviously it would be nice to hear more about it, I'm really interested in knowing the extent to which you can influence the world...

From Mielke's blog on 1up.com

"If I were reviewing Fable II like I ought to be doing , at least I could listen to genuine English accents and a far superior script. Guess my review session will stretch from 11pm to 6am like usual. It's cool. Who needs sleep anyway? Not this guy! In case you're wondering how I like Fable II, I am loving it. I think GianCarlo on EGM said it best when he mentioned to me that it's like "Oblivion for people who don't like Oblivion." I'd agree with that, and check back soon for the full review."

What about people who only like Oblivion when it's heavily modded on PC? :(

play fallout 3? i'm not sure what he means, either...

Given it's Milky and he likes it I'd assume it plays more like something from Japan... Though given it's not akin to a JRPG or a fighter I'm stumped.

I mean I'd assume he means you're not wondering through huge, dull, lifeless environments but if you take that away I can't see how it's anything like Oblivion.
