for us poor saps stuck behind a firewall at "work", can anyone paste the reviews providing this is not breaking some kind of rule here

it would be very appreciated, I went from not getting this game to counting down the hours til tomorrow :D

can't do dat apparantly

Fuck me, I'm so glad that Peter's wonderful concepts have finally been resonated in a great game again. I think the most exciting thing of this franchise is where the next title could go to, especially now Lionhead have the fundamentals of gameplay and narrative down right. I'm thinking a world that morphs as much as your character plz ;)

I know there had been some mention of it earlier in the thread but has anyone else's amazon order not shipped yet? My CC hasn't even been charged yet.

This game has insanely amazing art. The collector's edition strategy guide contains a massive artbook that is filled to the brim with beauty and awesome.

thanks! (I managed to read it, sorry I wasn't sure if it was against the rules I've seen whole IGN reviews posted before)

Try reading the less-big site reviews if you're behind a firewall. I doubt Spongychicken or RPGSite are blocked

We we hit with a brutal virus last year that caused them to put our firewall to block everything even remotely interesting...Anything associated with games will be blocked (I tried the sites you mentioned just for fun).

I can get on Gaf as it must be classified as a news site or something else (thankfully)

It also makes you consider why so many games force you to traipse around in circles or click on every NPC you meet to access the next mission.

Following Fable II's path of least resistance leads you through an expertly paced trail of combat and quests, spectacle and challenge, with no roadblocks in between.

The sheer scope of the game is an achievement in itself, gliding from a knockabout Dickensian childhood through a grim middle age, and on to a conclusion which all hangs on some particularly tricky choices.

With the game's story finished, you're left with an open world stuffed with new side-quests.

Inclusive and often thought-provoking, this is a daring portrait of a game-world with all the failure cut out, and it's hard not to love a game that loves you so much in return. Fable II will charm you, thrill you, and leave you very, very happy.

I'm betting on 7 to 10, just like the first one.

From my review:

The average play through of the game should take somewhere between 15-20 hours. If you ignore all the sidequests & diversions you could probably finish the main quest in around 10-12 hours. However there is so much to do in the world of Albion that you should expect upwards of 25 hours to see and do everything the game has to offer.

All this 'lovefest' talk makes me feel guilty for not playing through the original now.

Also, the commercial for this is awesome. It's available for download on XBL now.

short question: the whole "you can plant a tree"-thing isnt really implemented, right? Im on a video-blockout atm, so I wont watch those gametrailers videos.

I read on the official Lionhead forums that it was last week however I cannot confirm either way.
