So is online Co-op the same as same system co-op as far as being henchmen only? That would be a real bummer, but then again I love that it has same system co-op at all... most games these days ONLY do online co-op.
 
Yeah, it just seems like a good ARPG with someone driving the game 60 MPH (like Fable). Fast level progression, fairly quick (and really too easy) battles, quickly moving narrative, etc.

I'm not sure just how much I like it yet but the dog is a masterstroke. Cute little doggie. Like him so much.
 
Picked up my LE today. Pretty disappointed in the fugly packaging and gimped LE contents.
The reduced price isn't much of a salve.
 
The Gargoyles are pretty damn funny. I had one frustrating the hell out of me as he kept talking shit and I had no idea where it was. Took me a good 15 minutes. I think I pressed Y harder than I ever have before when I did :p

Last time I checked, based on doesn't mean "is or exact". You could even see how the camera would work in those videos. The fact is many people thought it would be THE character. The one WE create. Not some lame henchman. That makes it Lionhead's fault for poorly conveying this concept. You can call all of us idiots if you want, but it doesn't matter. It is a disappointing portion of the game, compared to what we expected.

Furthermore, there's absolutely no reason for it to not be YOUR character. And don't give me "it doesn't fit in the story!" It's a game.
 
Assuming you get a retarded SOL code-less edition of the LE...what DOES it include besides a lame cardboard slipsleeve for a ridiculous premium cost??

I called people idiots? News to me guy. There you go misconstruing again....but whatever, dock the game "points". I know I'll enjoy the experience of playing the game.

I used it on my second playthrough so that I could buy lots of XP pots to get my character back to where he was before I hit the game-ending glitch.
 
Story time.

I go to EBgames, I ask for Fable 2, the guy says they "cannot process anything" because their computers are down. I exit the store, turn right to Best Buy. I get Fable 2, including Fable: The Lost Chapters for free.

Morale of the story: EBgames - lololololol.

Now what should I really play first... The Lost Chapters (Played Fable 1, but not this) or Fable 2?

No, I wasn't accusing you of calling people idiots. That was more going out to the general attitude toward people like me, who believed something that apparently we absolutely should not have because there's absolutely no way anyone could misunderstand Peter Molyneux. No way ever. NO WAY.

And if you'd bothered to read my previous posts, I, too, will be enjoying the game. I'm not going to let Lionhead's stupid decisions ruin what's left of a good game.

AND. I don't fucking give a flying rat's ass about "points".

Way to go.

As far as co-op is concerned, can anyone tell me if system co-op is enabled from the get-go? I'd really like to see if I can get my wife to play this with me, but do I have to get past the childhood phase first before another player can join in?
 
so i received my "limited collector" edition and its nothing like limited but seems rather an ordinary edition to me, where is my hobble figure, where are my destiny cards?

so this video here starting at 2:13: That pirate looking chick, thats a henchmen? not the insinuated unique character of another player? Further more in this video here, starting at 4 minutes: Peter's words don't really sound like they refer to henchmen.

I'm done cluttering up the thread in dealings with you and with this non-sense over who said what after this post. But when you say "you can call all of us idiots" when it's a retort to my post, it's like dealing with a fucking tween when you deny that you even said it. IF this was "answered" before, could someone answer it again?

Married villager, took her to my crib, set as marital house, she wants me to hit that, I give her the thumbs up, head to the bed "You can't sleep now."

Ok...repeat process, she wants me to hit it, give her gift, thumbs up, head to the bed and..."You can't sleep now." I've tried this in the morning and after the crier says "SLEEP TIME" with the same non-result.

Needless to say, this is a pain in the ass and stupid. So, what's the deal here folks?

They told me to come back after a week. A week. They would not sell LE items to not reserved people (despite clearly having copies that were in addition to those on hold for reserves) to non-reserving customers the first week. And to try again to see if they had any left afterwards.

....

Whatever. MS just sent me one anyway, though its not LE. That's GameStops loss if you ask me.
 
I can't get laid in this game. It worked once with the first girl I married but after that she wouldn't fuck me again so I killed her and child protective services took my child (will I ever see him again?). Now I married another girl and she won't do it at all :(

am I doing something wrong?

I can't get laid either. Brought my ho back to our shitty little caravan (I did the ghost quest but I am trying to play good) and she was like I WANNA RIP YOUR CLOTHES OFF and i'm like I WANNA BITE YO NIPZ OFF but then nothing happened

bought my LE from circuit city and I DID NOT have a 48 hour trial sticker on the front but I DID get the code inside. I was pre-emptivally mad thinking no sticker no code, so was a nice surprise :lol

weird... my store didnt get extra LEs, we actually had to cut of reserves a while back og for the LE.
