What rating is this game?
Went home at lunch and played the first 20 minutes or so. "Could have sworn I heard someone say something like "Fuck your wife.." No it wasn't an orb.:lol

Anyway, are we still going to do online gaf co-op? I mean it could be useful for when you just want to help someone else out and dont feel like progressing your main character story wise...right?

The little gamertag orb is awesome, when I first saw it I was like WTF :lol Is this only for friends that are playing at the same time, or is it someone who you've co-op'd with?

There's no death/"game over man" screen but you can lose all your hit points. The penalty (if you can call it that) is you lose any ungathered experience and are "scarred".

If you set it to open or whatever you can see a lot more than just friends. I'm not sure how many orbs can be floating around your screen at once I'm sure there is some limit, but how they come up with who you can see and hear at any time, not sure.

I can't tell from all the incoherent comments in that Lionhead Forums thread, but it seems like you can't take EXP or gold back with you into your own world, is this true?

I think it's awesome that you can cross paths with others during the game. It adds a whole new dimension! I'll have to set it to open, probably down the line for some trading and stuff.

Really interesting feature no doubt as I've heard some interesting stories from some random folks. Anyhow, I quite like it.

I'm gonna go for a purely evil character the first time around, probably, so the scars will just add to that. :P

Alright, thanks. I don't care about not looking like my character in someone else's world (or the fixed camera), but it would've been pretty lame not being able to split the wealth as was advertised.

You can actually lose experience you've gathered and even spent, too. A mate of mine died at one particular part 5 times in a row, and lost three upgrades.

He lost two levels of a spell, and a health bar extend.

Ouch. I take back my star then. Thats as bad as FFXI's level down. Of course thats still not as bad as having to start from some other checkpoint.

Are the characters we are able to choose when joining someone elses game only amount to how our own hero has developed right?

Good to hear, that punishment is more steep then death itself.
 
Do you have to have a Gold account to see other player Orbs in your game? I wouldn't have thought so since it isn't really multiplayer, but I've had the option set to 'All' since Friday and haven't seen a soul.
 
Games pretty good so far - played strictly co-op for the past 4 hours. Sucks that if my friend plays without me I miss out on the story since he hosted the game, but we had a fun time when the action got going. I don't see a tremendous improvement over the first one to be honest, load times are still long and frequent too.

I would imagine single player is a little less frustrating though, the camera really takes a lot away from the fun. It just sucks sometimes. Also, having to rely on the gold trail they use to show where to go next is a pain in the ass.

You can hear the DVD laser being worked into overdrive with this game. One of the first things I noticed.
 
I only have 10 friends and none of them will buy Fable 2, and I planned on putting the orbs in "only friends", anyone wants to be an orb in my world ? :D
 
Just got the game and i'll play it in English but a friend I know was going to split with me if he could play it in French... Hungarian,Polish,Korean etc etc are in there but no French? wtf Lionhead????

The first game wouldn't even run on my Thompson Xbox. I really hope that install thing comes soon.

You can merge pub games gold from pub games itself or when you meet a game master in the game.

The website extras you get at the end of the opening quest where you activate the first gate. It's also where the LE stuff is found.
