Same. Not sure what enjoyment people are getting from using the pub glitch and being wealthy right off the bat. It's no different than using a cheat code that gives you more money.
My thoughts as well.

You have to get all 8 perfect rounds. So far I haven't done it.

Fuck, that's going to be hard. At least there's a ton of experience to be had in the attempts. The shitty part will be going 7 for 7 until that last room, and then shitting the bed in there. I was pretty close to taking him down under the round limit last time though. Rifle with sub-targeting helps, maybe one more in speed and accuracy will do the trick.

What if my main character is Harry potter, he's a rich kid, so being rich off the bat works:p

<3 Fable II its so full of charm & character

Do not let gowans in you world he goes about smashing doors down and pulling magic out around towns folk. He cost me fines galore and nicked half of my landlord gold lol.:lol

I love how the atmosphere of the town changes when the economy is either doing good or bad. Like, in Bowerstone i earned 5 star blacksmith, and apparently working in the town like that increases their economy, as well as buying and selling goods. So, by the time i was done, everyone is talking about how business is booming and how rich they are and how it's so great things are doing well. If the economy is crap, everyone is like 'we are gonna go out of business if we dont sell something soon'.

I hear if you commit a lot of crimes in a town you can send the economy to crap and buy up all the real estate for cheap.

Does anyone know the effect of killing traveling traders has? I couldnt find anything on that.

This Fable II thing really is the GOTY for me. Dead Space is a great genre game, but this absolutely redefines what an RPG can be. Such a breath of fresh air after having played countless cookie cutter RPG imports.

Has anyone heard what possible DLC could be? More quests perhaps?

And also, not to get too much into spoilers, but at the end of the main storyline, does the game end, or can I walk around in Albion and continue to explore?

I don't think anything's been said, but I'm really excited about the possibilities.

Oh yes. In fact... eh, well, you'll see.

HAHA I took off the auto join on coop and I reject my friends from joining cuz I know they'll do the same thing.

Is that Garth's tower? That one is 203k and I can't seem to find anything else to buy.

I thought Peter said Castle Fairfax would cost a million gold but buying it doesn't seem to be possible.

haha I didn't know what I was doing first thing I ever did in the game :lol

I did make up for it after doing some single and gave a Gaffers orb some a potions as a gift.

Off out now but itching to get back and play more.

Coco, I think your "XBL voice issues" topic was removed or something. All I see in the fears/problems section is another person's topic reporting it.

Theres a "fears and problems" section in the forums for bug reports. So help Lionhead out and report those bugs.

I think there's a big bug in the childhood section, but I'm not sure. If you do the quests out order, I think it fucks you up. When it was time to do the beetle quest in the childhood part, and the bread crumb trail was pointing to it, I instead went and did the drunk guy quest. And then I went back to the beetle quest.

I thought it was odd when the beetle guy didn't have any dialogue - the "hold A" to accept quest prompt simply appeared, but he didn't explain the quest. I did that quest, and then afterwards noticed that sis had disappeared from the game world, so I couldn't even trigger the final quest that gives you the 5th gold coin. I had to end up starting over.

Anyone else experienced that at all? The next time around I did all the quests in order and it was fine.

Heh, I let Flynn in my world and he couldn't figure out how to work the yellow button so I now have a very frightened Gypsie camp.

I must like the game because I played it for 6 hours straight out of the box. My only complaint is that this game is a completionist's nightmare.

I'm just going with Shock for now. What seems to be the most useful power?
I've maxed Shock, Inferno and Time Control. Inferno is really fucking deadly.

I'm going the 1 magic for each level route. Not sure which I will max yet.

Can anyone tell me a little more about which quests will/won't be available after traveling to
The Spire?

I'm planning on doing all the one-offish ones, but I'm specifically curious about -

- Westfall archery range
- Archeologist
- Sculptures

Will any/all of these be gone, or can I do them when I get back? I don't want to do them all now, and they seem like they should still be around, but you can never be too sure...

I did the drunk quest before the beetle quest and experienced no problems.

Westcliff (the bandit camp with the Crucible): I don't see an option to buy the tavern or shops, there's no sheet of paper posted next to them. Can those properties not be bought?

No, it is, but only in the aftergame.

Yeah.. the troll took me the longest. I perfected 6 of the others with flying colors using level 5 inferno and the one I didn't was within 20 seconds, I had trouble finding all the baddies. Will do better next playthrough.

Since I'm geared toward magic, I'm thinking a level 2 blades might be the ticket. Kite around the troll throwing out the level 2 blades. That's strong enough to kill off a node I think.

It really isn't as bad as you think. I'll make a post once I have everything, but I don't anticipate it will take too many extra hours. Okay, well, I don't plan to buy one of every food item or weapon, but I do have all the clothes (male and female...).

This. Inferno is a life saver in many parts in the last third of the game. Level 5 wipes out a mess of the undead real easy like. It also makes quick work of about 7 of the rooms in the Crucible.

The archery range and sculpture quests can definitely wait. The archaeology quests I'm not so certain on. I did all of the quests she would give me up to that point, and then she doesn't give more until you get back from where you are about to head. So, I assume you could wait and do all of them, but I wrapped up as many as she would offer me.

its more useful on Room 8
i shouldn't have been using the gun. Just slow time stand next to the target and wipes out all the "nodes"

Does anyone know if the seconds timer is glitched or not, it says I've played 40,000, which is about 11 hours I've played waaay more than that!

Also what is the Will with the icons around it, in the temple of shadows, I got down their last night and there isn't anything to do. The lever beside the big Will doesn't do anything!

you have to bring people down there to sacrifice

Really? It didn't seem to be hitting the nerve endings when I used it on him. The rifle seemed like the best solution, but I'll try this again.

My friend just finished the game and I asked him how long it took him to beat him and he just checked and said they put your play time in seconds? WTF? He has a play time of 61952 seconds (17.2 hours). :lol

Is this true?

Zeliard said:
Must have been a one time thing, I guess, or maybe something else glitched it up.

I turned the breadcrumb trail off before I took my first step. I'm guessing I didn't do things in the "correct" order, but I didn't have any glitches during childhood.

Im going to dropkick my 360 if I hear the disc spin down and get that unreadable error one more time.

What causes 360's to do this anyway?

Faulty disc drive. Mine has been doing it forever and I'm out of warranty, so I am debating just buying an entirely new console. My ghetto interim solution has been to keep the 360 upside down. It's just like what I had to do with my launch PSX back in 1995. :(

That said, it keeps the unreadable errors to a minimum. I've only had one so far, as opposed to one every 15 minutes.

Does anyone know if the "Donating to the Light" quest ever ends and gets off your list? I just became the "Harvest Benefactor" a second time and got another Rising Sun in my inventory, and the quest remains...

A possible bug?

right now it's 12:08pm in game

I donate over 10k to the temple of light and still don't receive the reward

what am i doing wrong?

I've donated over 1k in the past

Well it only happens every so often, but this 360 is the second one i've gotten back from that Red Ring of death warranty extension program. You'd think the ones they send back out wouldnt have issues.

The 3rd one I got back had disc drive problems, what I did was put it vertical and sure enough it died a few days later. Ms replaced it for free since it was within the 3 years and it was a refurbished console. The one they sent back (same console), had a new disc drive and they also sent me a new power supply.

How much are you guys earning every 5 minutes or however long? I'm only getting 200 gold and I feel like I've got far more real estate and shops than that...

I'm getting about 9K---you get roughly 1% of your total real estate holdings, and you can get more or less if you adjust your prices.

Do the bartending mini-game for fast cash and buy small price properties.

I always put my prices up 100%, I'm a complete arsehole.

What's this pub glitch I hear about?
It's a glitch in Fable II Pub Games which allows you to bet a significant amount of money more than you actually place, ensuring big profit everytime even without the need to gamble.

People just exploit the glitch then transfer millions of gold to their main game - though it has been patched for some time now.
