Official Fable II Thread

I have a few questions about relationships in Fable;

1. How do I get women to sleep with me? I can get women to love me and I have 2 wives but I can't get them to sleep with me. As far as I'm aware, you just need to get them to follow you and then goto your house and sleep right? I thought thats what you did but it doesn't seem to be working, it's worked twice but outside of that it just brings up the option to sleep normally. I dunno what was different the other two times.

2. Same deal but with...umm....a group of women. Can get them to follow me to the bedroom but nothing more.

3. Getting peeps drunk. How do I do this?

Cheers

1) By the "Come Hither, Dear" book in bowerstone.

2) Use the "Come Back Back to my Place" expression and women listed as unchaste.

3) Gift them the drink.

Enjoy.

Thanks mate.

Oh and one last question, my character is getting a little....fat. How do I lose weight?

Can you actually make your character thinner? My fatness gage is on 0 and I've eaten celary a few times with the "thinner" status coming up, but nothing happens.

Finally finished it after like 30+ hours, though there's still quite a few things I've got left to do (a few sidequests and Demon Doors). Really loved the game. Although the final battle could've been better, I thought the ending was really well executed overall.

The credits were awesome too,
there are caricatures of the entire Lionhead staff with Peter Molyneux appearing first as a Snake Oil Salesman. Fits him perfectly! :lol

I played a little of this and I was really pleasantly suprised. Fable 1 bored the ever loving shit out of me with its 5 step maps but this is much bigger, although seemingly very very linear right now. I stopped playing to get back to Pub Games, im now just 2 tournament wins away from unlocking all the items and 125,000 Keystone points away from unlocking all games, then i'll be 200/200 and ready to transfer my shit over to Fable 2.

Got it yesterday and lost track of time while playing, absolutely love it. One question though, can you have multiple save files, or are you forced to overwrite everyhting if yo ustart a new game?

Aside from a few technical issues (slowdown, pop-up, loading, all of which shoudl be addressed when we can instal lthe game to the HDD after the new XBL I pressume)

Yes, if you start a new game that just creates another Hero. It doesn't overwrite your previous character, and then next time you choose 'Continue' a set of cards will appear on the screen where you choose which Hero you want to play.

You're close, make sure you do everything you want to before you get on that ship.

This game is so much fucking fun. I blacksmithed the FUCK out of that job.

Also, it's pretty cool seeing little orbs of people on your friend list come flying by noting they are playing in the same area. Such neat little design choices make such a fantastic game.

I can't believe I am enjoying the game so much, really my surprise of the year so far.

the hero of will mission was awesome i didnt expect that to happen and result after thr mission.
I like the whole sci-fish atmosphere

Well, this is annoying..
I bought a house in Oakfield and moved my family in it, and now I can't rent out the other one I was living in ): All it allows me to do is choose to redecorate it or set the budget.
Anyone else having this problem?

Do you now have 2 families with the same wife? I had that same problem. Never went away. If you dont want her to divorce you dont set the budget on that house to zero as I did.
One of them will go away but the other will stay forever. Has to be bug.

It's kind of disappointing these legendary weapons (Hammerthryst, Sun Ripper or whatever) aren't as good as standard Master items. I guess it's just the progression of the game and I'll find some that are but I hate to ditch em since I feel cool wielding them over a regular ol blade.

The blacksmith job has suddenly become unavailable to me, anyone know what thats all about?
It comes and goes and can move to new areas when you've discovered them. Best to go to your menu and check out what jobs are available.

In other news, I'm being blackmailed for my manly skills. I mean, I've married one chick and had two kids, married a gypsy but I haven't touch her I swear. Also, I had a orgy but thats it!

Anyway, I believe I know who the fellow is now so I may pay him a visit with ma hammar.

Holy shit, that can happen? That's amazing. :lol I have 2 wives, had an orgy with thugs in the Crucible place and frequently visit Wendy the Housewife in the Bowerstone Market. All good thus far at least.

Shit the game continues to surprise me with these little side quests. During one mission I was in one part of the game and I could hear this Scottish accent verbally abusing me, I looked everywhere for some angry villager who I might have annoyed but could not find anything. I chalked it up to a bug in the game and carried on. It was only a while later whilst in Bowerstone I discovered about the Gargoyles scattered throughout the land! Even more for little old me to do!

And, did I hear John Cleese earlier pop up in a small cameo role
As the highwayman? He appeared in front of a group of bandits then ran off again, not sure if he is going to come back or what....

Also a question about the main quest
I've just completed the crucible fights and I've been told to go meet Hammer at the docks, but was warned once I go I can't return. Does this mark the final level in the game once I set off for the spire? I thought I had several heroes to find, I seem to have found Hammer and the other dude who got abducted

El Pollo Diablo would not take kindly to that, I'm afraid. He took it really badly in the beginning of the game when the
Slave Trader
mouthed off to him. He smacked the guy, and then killed him.

I LOVE the scottish Gargoyles, such clever game design. He keeps teasing you with insults!

"You canne see meh, but i can smell yoooouu!!"

Makes an ordinary task like looking for items so much more fun! A smart arse Scott as a Gargoyle = Genius!

Ok, now back to making money for my baby boy :)

Alright so I'm doing one of the Archeologist quests and the hint is: "Everything points to the next artifact resting somewhere which has 'long been home to travellers' according to one source."

I can't figure out where it is for the life of me.

Holy shit. The sidequest where
you sleep in Garth's tower and transform back into the kid stage. Then meet Chesty the treasure chest.
That level design was so awesome
