Anyone know when I can biuy furniture for my house in Bowerstone...?

I've played just past the Crucible...
You could buy furniture the second you hit Bowerstone Market. The furniture store is in the corner. (Unless you have some sort of bug)

Sounds like you're bugged. I was too. You'll have to wait until you hit the furniture store in a later city in order to buy anything.

Unfortunately, one of they keys in the Bowerstone Cemetery is bugged/non-existent for me, so I can only get 50 keys.

Aside from that, though, I completed everything there is to complete in the game, excluding achievements, this weekend. I own all of the property, I have "all" of the keys, unlocked all demon doors, and shot every gargoyle after having beaten the game last week.

I've been critical of the game despite really having a lot of fun with it. No one can actually argue against the game being buggy; it just is, unfortunately. But you know, I went from playing Fable II to playing another RPG, Tales of Vesperia, and let me tell you, that's given me a whole different level of appreciation for Fable II.

Suffice it to say, it's a lot easier to put together a game with few/no production bugs when it's a constricting, linear game. I won't get into a whole comparison between the two games, but the long and short is that Fable II is pretty much everything Tales of Vesperia is not.

So I have a new perspective on Fable II now, something which most of you seemed to already have. But hey, I haven't played a JRPG in I don't know how long, so this was a good reminder about just how different they are from a game like Fable II. Sure, it's got problems, lots of 'em, even. But it is a fun, time consuming game, and it is a vast improvement over the original. It absolutely needs to be improved further, but at least now I'm much less sour about the game and potential for the next one in the series. It would have been nice to have felt like this before I was done with the game, but what can you do?

Does anyone know how to get
-Hat, Headband Moustache expression
-Feign Attack expression

I want that 'completionist' achievement but I'm unsure how to get these last two expressions. I even spent last night running around and killing everyone in Bowerstone, Oakfield and Bloodstone to get evil enough to get the extort and threaten expression.

is it possible to get completionist if you chose "Sacrifice"? The only trick my dog was missing is backflip. Did anyone get it after choosing Sacrifice?

Hat,Headband,Moustache = Win playing Pub Games on Xbox Live Arcade
Wait wait wait. So I have to buy that stupid pub game to get it?

Oh well. Good thing I don't care that much about achievements.

Yes, you can. Just get everything else.

So I beat the game yesterday and have a few questions
1. The ruby that the hollowmen ask for...do you get anything in return?
2. The dark seal...I gave it to the girl does anythign change if I keep it?
3. I picked Love becasue I wanted the dog...can you get the dog any other way?

Also after buying the Million dollar house that mission was awesome! Sad there was no final boss fight as the house mission was tougher then anything the game threw at me up until that point.

I finished with 20 Gargoyles and ?? Keys...still missing a bunch of achievements...
...speaking of achievements is the doll chain still going around? Can I hop on (be on tonight around 7est)? Thanks.

1: Yes, it's worth a ton of gold. Or do you mean if you put it back? No idea.
2:
You get aged and your eyes turn red... just like she did.
3: No.

1.
I gave them the ruby, and they didn't seem to give me anything in return, but I was looking in my inventory later and I noticed I still had the ruby. Not sure if that was supposed to happen or it was a glitch.

I have to say, the ending that happens if you listen to
Lucien's speech
is probably one of the greatest endings in a game ever.

It really brings Reaver's character home for me. :D

Now they need to patch the games to fix the bugs so more people will buy it.

I loved the part where I couldn't decide
if I wanted to kill Lucien or let him do his little speech. After a while, Reaver shoots him and says "Oh sorry... did you want to kill him?" So funny.
:lol

Thats what I was talking about. :P

Had my funniest moment of the game last night.. so a buddy of mine just picked up the game the night before, he played a little.. really seems to like it. He messages me wants to hop in my game and see the co-op in action, and check out my character. Sure I say..

well he askes me if he can kill people in my game, I tell him he cant unless I turn off the safety.. so dont worry (even if you do, Im 100% Evil and Corrupt so no worries)

So he is under the impression that he cant kill any towns folk. So we start to look over the achievements, he wants to get the hunter.. so I stoll outside, find a bunny and do the deed. Well, I had to turn the safety off for that.. forgot to put it back on.

Well next up is showing my buddy my Family, my seggsi whore wife and our wonderful son. Well, Im showing him around my house.. made my wife follow, we get up stairs and out of the blue he puts a rifle round through her face, she flies out of the room, down the stairs and lands RIGHT in front of my son, DEAD as a doornail. He had no idea about the safety and was under the impression he couldnt hurt her.

Easily the funniest thing in gaming for me in years.

Then he killed my son :(

We laughed for a solid 15 minutes.

So
Im doing the Cementary Mansion quest where you investigate the crypt. I took the stone and killed the hollowmen instead of returning it. Is the stone any good? What happens if you return it?

Where are all the trolls? I think I remember encountering each kind of troll only once: earth troll
during the lucien's journal quest
, rock troll
at the crucible
, and a swamp troll
the first time through wraithmarsh
. Oh, and another one during the
Rookridge Inn quest
. But they don't seem to spawn outside of quests.

One of the hint boxes states that trolls can be fought during high level bounties. I've never tried it though, so hopefully this hint's arrows are pointing in the right direction.

Do I need to really buy fable 2 pub games to get the completionist achievement or will the book randomly show up for those expressions?

I've had a day or two now to think of the ending and the game as a whole;

- The game is crying out for a more advanced difficulty level. XP points are handed out like candy in the game, instead of choosing whether I wanted to be a magician/sniper/CQB kinda guy I ended up just maxing out in all the abilities by the end of the game. Not to mention the fact the game is very easy for the most part, I think I 'passed out' twice during the entire game. I was expecting to have some big-ass scars after those battles but I couldn't really make out if any scars were present. Either way, -2 to my appearance for dying twice isn't that much of a penalty.

-I'd love to hand out autographs to all the little snot nosed kids I meet, I really would, but having to go through the motions each and every time does drag a bit. Why couldn't an option have been included for the D-Pad commands?

-Potions/Food should be more easily accessible. Yes, you can press right on the d-pad to insta-drink a potion but you could be missing 20HP and the game offers you the most powerful potion in your itinerary to drink. An apple would suffice!

-The game should have used a 'spell wheel' borrowed from Mass Effect. Changing spells in the middle of a battle is horribly unwieldy, for the most part I just left it on Shock and didn't bother investigating other spells. It doesn't really encourage you to fully use your powers to the max.

-Main quest was short, especially Reaver's segment which should have been the largest given what a great character he was. Maybe Stephen Fry's fee cut that short :p

I enjoyed it for the most part, but I couldn't help come away feeling underwhelmed by the final third. I'd give it an 8/10. Would be nice if there were some DLC levels/missions to further the story a bit, although I get the feeling that costumes/weapons is all we'll get. :(

So besides the Archeologist, Bounty Hunter and the few house missions is there anything else post endgame? Or is they all they meant with quests after the game ended?

Have you completed the game... in which case, read this:

I got that achievement without having a dog at all (sacrifice)... so I reckon you can, yeah.

There's a bunch of dungeons that you probably never saw... plus the demon doors, and the assassin's guild.

On the DLC I wonder if (ending spoilers)
the fact the three heroes go to 3 different places is important, maybe we'll see a Hammer DLC packs that opens up some area in the north, Garth DLC that opens up where ever he went and a Reaver DLC that's back in Bloodstone

I hope they have plans for actual gameplay content anyway, but I suppose I should really just take the hint that the total lack of information provides and expect very little DLC and none of actual consequence.

I agree...a harder difficulty is much needed...
I was 'knocked out' only once...
Items in general are a pain...let me stay in menu and use multiple :(

It's not unlocking for me. I have all abilities maxed, and all the expressions available, except for Backflip.
I've got the Backflip book, but I can't read it, for obvious reasons
.

Odd. You could try the demon door trick (assuming you hadn't already opened it).

Right, completed the game, now just need to do the co-op achievments and get all those dolls. Anyone fancy helping a fellow Gaffer out later? :D

I kinda skimmed over the last page but didn't see anything about this.

Has anyone yet received there code from Microsoft concerning the DLC mishap?

I filled out the form on xbox.com last wed I think, and haven't heard anything about it since.

Nope, and I signed up within minutes of them offering it

You can download for free the UK voiceovers for Fable 2 on the marketplace... too bad i need another language for the game [Italian].
Will they put that aswell?

I took the sex change potion and I DO NOT recommend it. I lost my attachment to the character almost immediately and started another >.>
I did it and don't regret it at all. My character was good with magic and skill, and no physique points, and the resulting female is HOT. I tarted her up and gave her the Hammerthyst.

Am I the only one that thinks the controls for magicka are horrid, and in a way a step back from the previous game. Not being able to put different spells on different buttons is really annoying, and the fact that you can just buy will and skill points also seems kind of a cheap to me...Not to mention that the clothes in this game aren't as varied as I would have liked to see in an rpg, yes even an action-rpg, and the fact that there are really no attributes for the clothing besides that of attractiveness really makes me miss armor from the last game. Fable II so far seems to have taken huge steps forward in some role-playing aspects, while being extremely shallow in the things that it tries to do traditionally. I don't mean to troll or to flame, but although I'm loving the sim aspects of the game, I can't help but wish that I'd have saved my money for Fallout 3 instead.

is there a way to relocate my family from one home to another?
Yes, when you go to buy a new home, an option will be listed to make it your new marital home.
For some reason I could change houses where my first wife lives (Bowerstone), but in Oakfield (where my second wife and only child are) I could not.
I'm also having a major problem having sex with my wives, they keep propositioning me, but every I go to give them the thumbs up even when I have them targeted the gift icon is still in place where the thumbs up should be. When I try to press thumbs up using RB and then have her follow me to the bed, the rest options come up. This is pissing me off beyond belief, my wives are wanting it bad real bad.

That's another way to sum up my thoughts about Fable II as well - plenty of extreme hits and misses.

You can also ignore their propositions, and use "come back to my place" directly. I've found this to be more reliable.

The Spire, after what's her face keeps it. Maybe you'll have to fight her. I mean the spire is just sitting there after the end game... Doesn't seem like everything has been resolved

I suspect
Theresa will be the evil you must defeat in Fable III, having been corrupted by the power of the spire.

Or something.

I hope that there is DLC just so that I can pop in a few months from now and see the +100,000,000 gold sign flash over my head.

I'm hoping for a Lost Chapters-type expansion to cover that stuff
left over from the ending with Theresa and the Spire
; I don't want Fable 3 to be a direct continuation of Fable 2's story. An expansion like that would take less time than a full sequel too. Also, I really want to see
Scythe return
.

I really wish the prisoners would have commented about me doing pelvic thrusts in their face while they starved.

Also I cut back on my physique and went straight shooting. My gal was starting to look like Hammer(sans the hair and ugly sandals).

Oh and I need to get my character back on the side of good. I'm already 100% pure but I'm still evil...meh. Any other ways to raise morality aside from eating tofu and getting the occassional bounty hunter/slave freeing job?
