I'd like to file a motion against eznark for calling a timeout at the end of a game that I was kneeling out. Punishment? DCX gets to have full GM controls for his team next season.

Don't make the draft the weekend of the 12th! I'll be in NYC and bringing Wells and AT with me to get wasted and then make them do stupid shit to show everyone in MaddenGAF.

GG DCX, but damn I feel like HFA was stacked against me in that one. My oline got destroyed by three man rushes early, and that led to me making rushed throws and bad decisions. Any chance I had for a comeback ended when Henderson dropped what would've been a TD on a perfectly thrown over the shoulder pass....which was immediately followed by a sack-fumble to what I think was another 3 man rush.

It was mainly a three man rush but I sent either olb. Weatherspoon played a mans game. 5 tcks, 4fl, 4 sacka , FF, FR 1TD.

Idk what happened with that Turner fumble. I tries to just dive and get touched as I didn't want to run up the score but he fumbled it lol.

I know you're just desperate to have it not be the following week because you have to work. There's still free agency, and the rest of the playoffs. The playoffs will have to get done ASAP (and they won't because of the holiday) in order for it to be this coming Saturday or Sunday.

CB or Rors usually set up the trade threads. Its always good for initial talks but it dies out within days. The trade talk either moves to Pms or back to the main thread.

Either way, I think its agood idea.

We can blow through this quickly. Get the playoffs done by Wed or Thurs and we can have a weekend draft.
Unless we are going to do a weeknight draft. The natives will get restless waiting till the 12th.

Nope. Splatter is holding us hostage. Free agency happens before the draft also which will take a couple days.

I can see free agecny starting next Friday or Saturday. The draft the weekend after that.

I'm with Bob here. I don't know how long the playoffs will be but all I do know is that we'll end up accelerating what we originally intended anyways

shooting for next weekend really would be great cause knowing this league I don't see us waiting till the 12th to draft, but I think some people are still doing holiday shit so i don't know!

I dont know, that seems pretty optimistic.

Isn't there 6 phases of free agency to vance through? Assuming the playoffs are even done by Thursday, that only gives you 2 days max to get through Free Agency.

I don't see us getting through even two phases of free agency on any given weekday, I don't know how some of you could possibly believe we'd do 5-6 in a single day.

Yeah, free agency definitely shouldn't take as long as it did last season. If the playoffs got done before the weekend is there any reason why we couldn't all get together for a period of time like we do with the draft and knock out free agency in one day?

So basically:

Saturday Morning/Afternoon: Free Agency (2-3 Hours)
Sunday Night: Draft (2-3 Hours)

well I think we should all get our re-signings done sooner so we don't have to go to that week and go "anybody still got guys to resign!" when nothing happens and we waste a day

I think for FA there's like maybe 3-4 rounds of negotiating. but I feel that generally by the 2nd or 3rd go around that everyone has who they wanted (or didn't get what they wanted, fucking CB stealing Randy Moss from me)

Sounds reasonable to me.

This is a actually a really good idea. Once bids are set we are waiting. We could set a time to meet up for FA, then have 15 to 30 minute bidding periods for each week. Boom, done in a couple hours.

Playoff games end on Sunday evening chump. We would draft after of course.

Wild Card times normally are (In CST, adjust accordingly):

Sat 3-630 and 7-10ish

Sun 12-3:30 and 3:30-7ish

By the by everyone should buy Tropico 4 if it goes on mega sale again. Of course it's worth it at the current sale price. It's my 2011 GOTY in 2012, so addicting.

Bob already said it, but yeah, I don't ever recall a WC game happening on Sunday night which is why I set it up like that.

That way we'd be doing FA right before the WC afternoon/night games on Saturday, and after the day games on Sunday.

I assume that Chris Clemons is not the guy on my team...

I don't think Flynn is a free agent for another year. He's only been on my team 2 years and his deal is for 3.
