Listening to the Phil Emery press conference right now, this man is pretty fascinating. Very thorough responses. Talking about the process of breaking down information from stats inc and football outsiders, and how they do their work. I've never really heard a GM talk about stats like this so publicly. Usually this stuff is reserved for the changing world of MLB stat tracking. Maybe Emery is ahead of the curve in the NFL.

Also, he specifically said the team needs to get better on middle of the field receiving. Gonna get TE Cheese back! Thank you Emery!

If this league has done one thing for me, its improved my game over randoms on xbox live. Slaying fools now. Seems so much easier than playing you elites.

It sure does. It gives you a chance to see how plays would work in practice against a live opponent. Its always funny to see them go for it on fourth down all the time, try to hit money plays left and right and the best part is the three touchdown deficit disconnect.

I just wish EA would add scrimmages with our online teams. How the hell else other than useless preseason games or in season can you test things out with your own players :/

Playoff spectator mode also. WTF EA?! Decades we have been asking for this :/

Games for Windows Live is such a giant piece of shit. I had to find a workaround to make Dark Souls work in Windows 8 because GFWL crashed right away upon loading the game up. Had to delete GFWL and reinstall using a custom installer. Sooner GFWL goes away forever, the better off we all are.

So i played a random last night after the kids went to bed and he used the Pats and i beat his cheddar ass by two touchdowns. I didn't have the sound on at all. I saw he sent me a voice message but since the sound was off i assume he said something like gg or something. I sent him a gg message.

I checked it this morning and it was a raged full minute blissful message of epic win. I will try to record it and post it, it was just amazing. His gamertag is matt62923

Seriously though, GG LJ. Lots of crazy plays. You were killing my runs early w/ your user safety, had to PA it over the top.

Bad play call on 4th and 2, I'm going to blame it on my phone ringing though, haha. Knew it wouldn't work presnap but went with it.

Left a lot of plays out there but I think being out of position on user ints. Was trying to bait throws to Gresham and it was loooooong plays instead. Honestly should have had 3 of them, pathetic. At least you were smart to put him on a fly at least once, that may have kept me flat footed.

Hate playing dudes like Splat, gives no fucks if it's in coverage which is smart, test the user before you respect him.

I don't know if I want to play next season.

I've had success with a certain D and went away from it early. No time to set it up on time, but the threat of AJ may have been a reason. I think Gilmore would've been able to keep up.

Fitz may have to go, throwing power killed me on that one int.

Whatever, I'll win next season, have to win one eventually...maybe...probably not...

Yeah I had to switch to a fly at least once after you were sitting on the out/fade route. Switched to more inside runs too.

Didn't matter that I was sitting on it though, I kept on misjudging Dalton's THP plus Gresham's speed. Terrible angles but you led it well

Also, if I kept the corner/out at bay, you were going to run the drag and that's something I can defend with Bradham alone.
