FMT what's your availability like this weekend? I'm assuming that the time slot in which the Niners are playing is a no-go.

Also, is there any way to view player attributes when I'm not at the Xbox?

I don't think so. I've hunted everywhere on the website, nowhere to be found

If you hit "my team", then click your player, then profile, you can see your own guys' attributes. don't think you an see other teams players though.

Two guys I was trying to trade are playing very well early on. Abraham and Babineaux :)

In two games I have forced like five fumbles. Recovered 4 and I counter it with six interceptions thrown and two fumbles of my own :(

Jax D is strong thru 2 games. 10.5 pts allowed per game and 8 INT's

I wish I could say the same for my offense =( Kody Arias off to a 2 TD 6 INT start.

I was counting through the individual player stats looking for forced fumbles (because team stats only show fumbles you recover, not force) and we're both tied in the lead for forced fumbles with 5. You have like 4 players with at least 1 while I have 2 with 2 (Dorsey and Henderson) and then Kerrigan with 1. Henderson is having a career year at age 35 (or whatever age he is). It's a good start so far. Unfortunately, I have and will always have the worst luck with fumbles. I had the second worst fumble recovery ratio last season and I'm up there so far this year (on both sides of the ball).

I'm the complete opposite. My offense has been my forte this season where my defense...lol

something's got to give when we play for both of us!

Speaking of FFs, I'm surprised I didn't force Bluemax to fumble at all. I felt like my defense was getting massive hits on some of his guys.

The physics in this game is a huge factor in the horrible running games. Running up the middle is very hard to do unless the gap is 5 yards wide. Last year it was so much different. Even though the physics engine is more realistic (in some ways, less realistic in others), I think they should've kept the bouncing off physics.

Yeah - I try to avoid running up the middle.

I'm working off a small sample size though; game 1 was against Smokey's vaunted D and game 2 Trasher controlled possession for 75% of the game with short passing.

That's true. Mine may be the same way. Levious and Storybook both have a great linebacker corp. Levious was also in possession for most of the game as well since I threw 7 interceptions. Storybook was just harassing my lanes though. I think the longest run I got with Watkins was 6 yards. RGIII managed to break a long one though!

You mean the same physics that caused Haden to trip over the guy that was going to block for him.

Yes, I'm still salty about that.

Yep. It happens to all of us! You should've seen one of the plays against Levious. I threw a screen pass to Watkins and I had about 15-20 yards in front of me. I accidentally run into my middle blocker and get stuck. I then get stuck in between all three for a good 4 seconds. As I finally detach, I run for a few yards before I get hit stuck and fumble. Everything went completely wrong because of the physics.

Having physics is all well and good but you need to have the players react properly to them.

Yeah. I like the addition of physics. But they should've made sure they worked 100% correctly. When in real life do people get stuck like they're magnets or trip awkwardly on their own players (and I'm not talking about tripping on a foot or that sort). It's so dumb!

Unless it's Sanchize, he should have a butt fumble rating.

Yea, Haden did a full 360 down to the ground after running into the back of his guy.

I guess that's the only example of Madden physics at work lol.

In a game I played with Soka, Merriweather had just picked the ball off and was running to the right side of the field. I saw a player coming and I immediately in the spin move button. When Merriweather's back was facing the player, he was immediately hit. Merriweather broke the tackle but was instantly slingshotted to the left side of the field. In result, it led to a wide open field since everyone had to shift momentum from the right side to the left side. It was incredibly fake.

Yes, Madden is one of those games where they think having realistic physics means having the most physics. Bodies don't react like that in real life. Players don't run and then just suddenly collapse into a pile.

I'm hoping going forward, they'll try to make the physics more subtle.

Backbreaker was a neat tech demo but it was too over the top for my tastes. Most tackles in the course of a real football game are rather mundane, every other hit is not a highlight reel type hit.

I play Madden all the time, Sanjuro. I love it

I think you can watch the replay of the last play, but I don't remember being able to watch the replays after the game. Of course, I only play my offline CCM once every couple of weeks, so maybe I'm wrong.

Oh yeah I'm not sure about the after the game highlights, never really tried to look at those. I just look at the ones of the last play because I'm usually angry over something stupid that happened

Yeah, I used to like to look over some plays after the game (usually my turnovers or where I gave up big plays) just to see if I missed reads or something like that....especially against human opponents. It sucks not being able to do that now.
