I have the 3G Vita. The biggest benefit is having a built in GPS. Tracks Near items more accurately. But other than that there isn't a difference.

Make sure you get a gift card though if you buy a Vita. Or wait for one. Stores have been doing 50 dollar gift cards with a Vita purchase on and off recently.

Or if you want Liberation get the bundle. It's only $249 and you get Ass Creed and a memory card with it.

Eznark you better buy Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U. That game is the main reason I'm buying the system now rather than later. Online play! 3DS version with no online play is trash.
