Got to say I really don't see the need for a full pre-season. Shouldn't take more than a game to figure out your new pieces, plus they are hardly even on the field the way it automatically does substitutions.

I'm going to use these pre season games to determine my QB of the future so I need to play them all before the season starts.

Well we're in the 4th quarter and my 2nd stringers are still in. So I think you only need to go 2 deep at some spots and 3-4 at others.

Injuries are off for this preseason, right? I need to decide how much of a look I need at my new starters before I put the backups in.

GG AT. Playing with backups is sort of weird. I think my second string defensive line is pretty good though!

Rookie Report:

Corion Stephens 1 catch 14 yards, seemed like AT was shadowing him a lot :(
Kenny Timm 2 catches 82 yards 1 TD

I signed Ty Warren and I wasn't able to play him in my practice due to injury, but I have nothing on my injury report.

Yeah your starters only play first quarter, after that its 2nd string and maybe some third string.

GG. As always, we've got work to do. Didn't have enough time to see Bryant Ford in action so I still don't know what I have there yet. My second round DT did okay, though.

And I like playing the preaseason games. After not playing for almost a week it's a nice way to get back into things without it hurting your record. And possibly get all the losing out the way in my case!

I'm never going to have a good receiver short of trading. All the receivers need a TD and like 5 catches to reach goals, but I don't even pass that much (or at least I try not to) and won't ever be able to get them decent XP.

This blows.

you and me both! thats why i let moss go rather than pay him. doesn't matter if my WR is an 85 or a 68, he's probably not getting the ball much

I agree with this. Getting back into the groove of this is nice. It also gives me a chance to look at some guys I haven't before.

GG Soka. Was trying all kinds of weird plays I don't normally use. Rookie 2nd round CB had a nice pick in the first half, he's competing for that nickelback spot with Verner who gets a big pick in the 2nd half. Really need to do a lot better on the ground though was hardly using CJ.

Joe Webb is stupid.
