I haven't had any performance issues but I have played mostly handheld mode. It's godlike.
Indeed handheld mode is why I bought a switch. Haven't had any issues either but don't own an aquarium.
...Hope I don't get the bottom one!

I've seen frame drops in Zelda Wii U, mostly in the forest area on the first continent with all the particle effects. Nothing game breaking though.
Only thing I'm not liking so far is cooking but otherwise I'm enjoying it and glad I went in blind.
