So, my take away is
AP is just more inconsistent with defensive ability, but lowering the sliders does have an impact on how defenders hold their zones and break up passes.

Now, I ran this play because I noticed on our current sliders, the nickel corner was always completely going out of position on his coverage and would always get caught way out of his zone. I went back with 0/0 to this place and same coverage. On some plays, he is still out of position, but in general he is in a better position to cover his actual zone, instead of jumping to the flat like in 100/100 sliders.
People seem to be able to stick closer to their zone assignment when the sliders are lowered, following the route instead of being late to make breaks.
