Good game, DM. You thoroughly outplayed me from about the 4 minute mark in the 1st qtr, but, thankfully, I was up 14 at that point. A lot of people (probably including myself) might have abandoned the running game at that point, but you sure as hell didn't. Edgerrin was nasty in that game.
Even though it took a lucky bomb to Ginn at the end for me to win, I'll gladly accept my Superbowl
trophy now!!! Final was 21-16 Dolphins!!!

That INT TD to make it a 14-0 game made me say "Why am I leaving the style of play that got me here? Use your damn RB!" Stupid greedy play put me in a hole that was pretty much going to decide the ending of the game, and it did 
Everyone is covered and I still force the ball deep instead of throwing it out of bounds. I guess your early TD got me scared and I thought if I punted it back, you would score again with that field position.

congrats bird! and so madden 08 is finally put to rest. award thread will be up monday (and i have a bunch of them) as well as updated standings.
UNFORTUNATELY, i don't know dick about HTML and as such i cannot update the awards/all-time records on my site. but, i will convert them all to thread form!

Trent Green led me through the the tournament....which is kind of funny because I only used him in 2-3 games in the regular season. Maybe my record would've been a little better if I would've used him more.

the problem is that i have the all time records, updated and nicely sorted but i can't upload them to my site. i don't know the passwords to my site, i don't have cuteftp or whatever it is, so in order for that to happen i have to email them to my ex gf who has all that info and will do it for me but i'm not sure when she'll do it.
if i send someone the html file can you upload it to a free site and have the layout be the same? if so then ill send it to someone in the meantime!

p.s. i will expand a little later when i make the official thread but keep in mind that these are as accurate as i can do for the records. there are a few seasons (8, 9, 11) where shit went down (dead consoles, missing players, crappy netcode) and full seasons weren't finished. i did the best i could!

i admit the records aren't 100% to the game accurate, but with those 3 nutty seasons in there i had to go with what i had! close enough

Thinking of how Vumpler cheesed my ass to death to get to the Super Bowl that season still pisses me off to this day. I can imagine him thinking.... "Hmm... I got a three point lead...let me start milking clock even though the second half just started..."

wtf, I thought I was better during the regular season. I've gone 14-2, 13-3, and I know I did a couple of 12-4s. With the ratings the Giants will have next year I hope to join FMT in the three super bowl club.
Actually I have lost three super bowls. Two as the Giants, one as the Bills. I think the Bills one was against Malley, one of the Giants was against Shawn, and I forget the other Giants loss.
