God damn it, here I was complementing Downs, and he goes and gives up a 2 run homerun to Placido ****ing Polanco. No more complements for this bullpen, they all suck expect for Ryan.

Ozuna and Pods batting 1-2 is about the best thing I've seen all year on this team. If only there was a way to do this everyday. Freakin' great.

I HATE the high fastball call with two strikes. It never seems to work. Especially not against a guy like Blalock.

Holy Hell both Chacin and Walker to the 15 day DL. Jesus we have no luck whatsoever. Looks like Downs Syndrome will be starting again or maybe Towers which would be worse.

I was wrong JP says Downs will not start and will stay in the pen, is he crazy enough to throw in another rookie into our rotation or maybe we recall Towers but I think that is a bad idea as he would be booed unmercifully in Toronto. LOL our rotation was suppose to be our strength but now its become our weakness with only Halladay and Janssen pitching well. Hmm, looks like we can skip one of Chacin's starts so we only need another starter to pitch on the 14th against the Orioles and than Burnett comes back to take over Chacin's spot. Hopefully his ass is healthy this time, if he gets injured again than we are in serious trouble.

Yeah, hopefully the Jays started another brute force trend last night.. hopefully they can win most of thier games the old Cleveland Indians way (11-8). :P

I don't really know if our offense can sustain that kind of hitting all year, if it cools down then we are ****ed.

So is Wells, but the Tigers aren't the Red Sox, they won't give either of them a good pitch to hit.
 
Remove the 8th last night and the Jays still do struggle with runners in scoring position (on average). The batting average stats look great on paper, but I'm sick of all the times they strand runners.
 
Man.... I am off the internets for one night, and the Reds lose to the Cubs. That'll teach me to have fun and go out for a night. Damn... I've let my team down.....

The good Ted Lilly better show up today. He needs to go atleast 7 innings to rest our bullpen a little.

Damn nice play by Aaron Hill, he has been very impressive at SS since he has switched over. Proving his detractors wrong with some awesome defense and he has been solid offensively since getting out of his mini slump.
