I know. I'm in the middle of an account bet that really was somewhat non-risky. I'll wait and see how Willie plays this, will the Mets make a rumored move on Green, Wilson, or Jenkins, and Floyd's return and the impact on Milledge (sent down?) Give me about a week or so.

Agree to these conditions?

If the Mets win 101 or more games, Kuroyume gets to chose my avatar for the duration of the Mets' playoff run. If they don't win 101 games, I get to chose Kuroyume's avatar for the Mets' playoff run.

Kuroyome, I REALLY think you need to wait 5 more games. Willie is experimenting a lot and I don't know when Cliff will be back. We had a lineup with a slumping Edge, Ricky Ledee, and Michael Tucker the other day. At least wait a week.

I'm in at 100 wins. If they get there I'll use a Met avatar throughout the playoffs.

If they don't, then Lathentar and I will decide amoungst us which avatar we'll pick.

I'll join so far this season Mets have been pw3eing the haters, I would like to see the Mets do it again for the 100th time this year.
 
Prior's a non story these days. He came back, but he was so horrible people just stopped caring, and now with him going back onto the DL, who (outside of Cubs fans) really cares? It's so cliche.
 
Just got home from a long day of helping my sister move her stuff out of her apartment. I saw the highlites of the Mets game,good win. I really wish John Maine had kept that consecutive scoreless streak going-it was fun to watch while it lasted.:)

So how this this bet come about anyways? Count me out though,I never bet on my teams since I tend to jinx the hell out of them. I want to sit back and enjoy the season were having and see how we play out in the post season. I had 3 guys wanting to bet on the superbowl but I said no way,look what happened,the Steelers won. If its a team I love alot I just don't bet.
I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve and get abit too emotional with these bets so I'll let you guys do the dirty work.

That bet is abit extreme,the Mets would have to win what.....2 out of every 3,which is sorta tough when you know Randolph is gonna start giving the regulars alot of rest come September. I mean the lead they have is a joke and I think the Mets are gonna have their guys start taking alot more R & R pretty soon. The guys that play almost everyday - Wright and Reyes need to be fresh for October ball,without them in the lineup the speed and clutch hitting takes a good hit.

You think that's bad? Luke Hudson of the Royals (an average pitcher) gave up ELEVEN runs in the first...while only recording one out. 0.1 IP...11 runs scored. :lol :lol :lol Hafner got ANOTHER grand slam. This guy is the grand slam king.
 
He seems to be okay again. What amazes me is that the angels have 8 hits against him in 4 innings, and yet his pitch count is only at 56. Jared Weaver has a pitch count of 70, yet the yankess are getting their collective asses kicked.
