Hey give him a break,it was one throw and it didnt lead to any runs :P

Now if he starts fing up every throw till Adam comes back then we have a problem.

Oh man....the jays are just tearing it up! Much as I regret selling my ticket to the first two games of this series, the way they're playing now, I'm almost afraid to go back :lol

Wells MVP

Rios is the future

amen!

Hey guys, remember the last time the Mets allowed a 3-run homer in the 9th that tied a game against the Giants and then won it in the 11th? :)

The Mets win! The Mets win! They WIN!!!!

I only brought that up because Kuroyume has been talking about how good Wagner is, when he's been subpar this season so far.

I'm going to need to find good Jays pics and upload them in readyness of more offensiveness from this team. :D

<3 Rios, <3 Wells, <3 Glaus Molina Overbay etc etc

Oh yeah, are there any Astros fans in the h2h "GAF OT Loose Balls" yahoo league?

Because if there are, I freaking DEMAND you trade me your #1 closer for Lidge. Flat out require you to do the right thing and look after your team's mess, not me. I'm not even kidding, you HAVE to do this.

Ok, your #2 closer for Lidge. But make it snappy!

Burke again with an rbi double,he really is Bidge jr :D

Is Borkowski the only astros reliever who can get a 1-2-3 inning ? :|

Rivera looking like he's gonna get the loss against the DRays :lol :lol :lol

Thats makes me feel good about Lidge and makes me want to laugh in Solracs face.

Lets see...

Lidge two blown saves

Metkee talks shit...

Wagner blows a game
Rivera pitching like shit and in line for a loss

I'm not too worried about Rivera-- he did the same thing last year and this year he's had almost no work to fix out his kinks.

I'm more worried about the lineup that managed 2 runs off MCCLUNG.

McClung no hit them through 3 :lol

Now it's up to Miceli to not fuck up. Which usually would be very likely, but the only way the Yanks will win this game is if he walks 7 batters in a row.

edit: well he leads off the inning with #1 :lol

Ugly face ASSTACIO sucks.

edit- fucking basesloaded and no outs, fuck.

Ground Beef face...

I was at the game tonight. Btw, I can't stand motherfuckers that go the bathroom/get a beer/food at the START of an inning (or start of the bottom half). You're supposed to do that shit AFTER an inning (or between). Anyway, I digress. Nice crowd out tonight, 32k for a Wandy start on a Wednesday? Not too shabby. Berkman is the shit, that's all I have to say about that. When Asstacio came in I said "his guy never has quick innings". Sure enough my ESP skills come through once again. I'm glad Garner went to Wheeler early enough. I'll forgive Wheeler for that 2 run single, it was inconsquential.

15-6 bitches

Sox and Astros picking up where they left off.

"I know things look good right now, and you hate to see Cubs fans get encouraged early, but I'm certain that things will straighten themselves out and we'll be in third place by early May," Baker said at a press conference Wednesday.
Haha, looks like that's going to end up being just about spot-on.

I'll give you Guardado or Fuentes

Lidge is making Fuentes look good. :(

Astros fans owe me restitution for this garbage! I'll sue! Or we could skip the court case - which I'd win - and you give me Street and I'll give you Lidge and Barmes.

I wouldnt give up on Lidge just yet.

Like the Stros last year,he will rise from the grave!

Wily Mo says "Fuck you GAF!"

No one knew who the hell this guy was when he was a Red, and now that he is on the Red Sox people are treating him like he is the second coming of Jesus.

:lol

Tha Arroyo trade will work out better for the Reds simply because of their desperate need for pitching. Wily Mo offered them nothing, except potential and moonshots. If he was good enough to play in the outfield every day, he would have gotten his chance with all the injuries the Reds have had the past 2 seasons. Dunn is their only consistently healthy outfielder. Also, Wily Mo can not hit right handed pitching.

http://www.overthemonster.com/story/2006/4/18/391/17849

ESPN's Rob Neyer had this to say about Wily Mo Pena's defense.

"f you're a Red Sox fan, you already know this, but if you're not, you might find this of interest: In the last week, Wily Mo Pena's "defense" has plainly cost the Red Sox nine bases. That's a lot. That's as many as you'll ever see. And even if the Boston Herald's Tony Massarotti weren't counting, we know the Red Sox would be. Because one of the things Bill James likes to count is defensive mistakes that do not get counted officially as errors.

I don't think I'm telling tales out of school. Bill has mentioned this in various interviews the last year or two. Anyway, now that the Red Sox are paying attention -- I mean really paying attention -- my guess is Pena's going to set some kind of team record for "clearly identifiable defensive mistakes" (although I think that's an old label that has been replaced by something more manageable). So many they'll realize his hitting doesn't (can't) balance his lousy fielding. At which point, the question for Theo Epstein becomes, "How do I convince some other team that Pena's really not as bad as we all know he is? Because there's not exactly an opening at DH."

Or maybe the Red Sox will simply limit his exposure. Let him start against left-handed pitchers, and yank him from the game as soon as the Sox are ahead by three runs or have a smaller lead in the late innings. But he simply won't be allowed to give away runs as regularly as he has been. "

9 bases over the course of four games is a ton. I don't care what kind of offense Mo Pena brings to the table, he's just not pulling his weight in Right. People were talking about him taking over for Trot next season, but I'm just hoping that they dump him, settle their losses, and go after a true right fielder.

Hey...Leave Wily Mo alone, thats my boy and I will not take this! The guy got signed to a ML contract at 16, dumping him w/o the right training(and if anyone could do it, the Red Sox can) would be stupid. He could be a monster, just give him one full offseason with Manny/Ortiz.

I'm not proclaiming Wily Mo to be anything more than a young power hitter with potential. His defense is bad, and he needs a lot of work in the plate discipline area. He has a lot of raw talent, but if anyone can make him realize his potential it's Manny/Ortiz/Papa Jack.

Arroyo is a mediocre pitcher that has been made valuable because of his small salary. I agree that this trade is good for the Reds at the moment, because they have no pitching. The problem with Arroyo is that once teams see him a few times, he is easily solved.
