I'm kicking myself for not recording the game,seriously it was that good. I would have loved this game even if they had lost to the Braves because you saw how badly both teams wanted to win,there was nothing left to give after it was all over,they put on one hell of a show for baseball fans tonight-amazing finish. I mean I don't think I've ever seen a manager warm up a fucking starter for an extra inning game,not in a regular season game,that is just how great both teams were gutting it out tonight. I dunno about MLBtv dude-sorry. If that were the only way I could watch games then I would go for it,even if its not perfect. I've got satelite,I bought a dish in 1997 just to see the Mets because I gotsick of being able to view them onlyon TBS every year. And like someonesaid earlier-love him or hate him-Keith Hermamdez in the booth is worth the price of admission,. The guy not only knows basebnall but he can entertain you all night long with his wild beer stories. Tonight he was all over the place with the rally cap,you never know what youre going to get from that guy. Certainly much better than Mr. "Frozen Rope,a.k.a. Can of Corn" Fran Healy.:lol

Grab a dish if you can. Its worth it for MLB Extra Innings. If not then go for MLBTV,I would if that were the only other way to get my baseball fix.

Well, a dish is pretty much out of the question, especially since thanks to the stupidity of Comcast, I'm getting cable with HBO for $10 a month. I don't have any illegal hookups; I had told them to shut off my cable and just give me the network channels. They stopped charging me for it, but never turned it off. I'm not sure baseball is worth the extra $179 plus whatever the dish channels cost per month. That's a whole lot more than what I'm paying now, and a lot more than MLB.TV as well.

I live in South Florida, so I get to watch when they play the Marlins, and whenever the Braves games are on TBS, but that's still not all that often.

I'm aware of Hernandez's entertainment value as an announcer, though, as I've caught a couple of games over my mom's house, since her husband has Extra Innings. I just picked up the 1986 World Series boxset, so I'll be watching Hernandez plenty as it is anyway.

Unbelievable game today. Seriously-the Mets bullpen,though not perfect by any means today-held onto the game and just got a win,whew. Reyes pretty much set the tone in this series so far. I dunno wtf Willie told him but his swings went from uppercut flyballs to a more balance swing that heeps most balls hit on the ground now. This series thus far has no one guy pulling the weight of the team,every night its been a little Wright,Reyes,Beltran,abit of Floyd,and Delgado has been hitting abity modestly so far,hope he busts out with a huge game tomorrow.

Hopefully there are no more pitching injuries to come for awhile. Bannister,Maine,Zambrano,and Wagmer with his finger injury,damn we have a rough 15 game schedule coming up-Phillies,Brewers,Cards,Yankees, and the Phillies again. The starters need to stay healthy.

While I hate to see anyone go down with a season ending injury it should teach the Mets a lesson-you don't trade great prospects like Kazmir for shit pitchers like Victor Zambrano. The season ending injury only compounds this stupid trade. Lesson learned......

I'll take a healthy Brain Bannister over Zambrano anyday. And they could always have Heilman start again,though I don't think they should mess with their bullpen since its been a nice weapon for them this season. Somehow I hope Pelfrey is able to get the call during the 2nd half of the year but I doubt it,the kid needs more time to groom his stuff for the majors.
