:lol :lol

Just read the quote from Tavarez about the Matos situation last night.

"If he came at me I was going to run out into left field. I'm in enough trouble as is."

Hey Ozzie, it's a tie game in the 8th why don't you bring in Matt Thornton. Oh you actually did?

yay only for 1 batter.

Wildman Tavarez is only good for punching things. Get some outs you ugly bastard.

I'm telling you, the only reason the Yankees/Red Sox picked up Farnsworth/Tavarez is for the inevitable bench clearing brawls.

Too bad Pedro/Zimmer are gone :)

Hey, despite the GS he gave up to you guys last year, Farnsworth doesn't blow.

Tavarez on the other hand. :D

What an ugly turd.

Wait until he comes out in a close game and simply can't find the strikezone. He doesn't suck by any means, but as the season goes on you'll see he has streaks where he's wildly inconsistant.

Don't worry, Yankee fans will permanently tag him as Farnsworthless when we get done whoopin' on him at The Toilet this week.

ELL OH ELL.

See you bastages soon.

On a side note, do we get to see Hamburger Curt in this upcoming series? A-Rod and Sheff are about due for some free BP. :lol

Yes, you're going to see Hamburger Curt. Unfortunately for you, the Schill you're getting this time isn't anything like the 2005 version. Schilling is not afraid of Kid WonderLOL's .269 average. Sheff won't even be able to play since he tore his vagina.

PREPARE FOR PAIN.

Frosty is poop Mig!

Astros coming back down to earth? Going to get swept by the f-ing Rockies :|

:lol :lol I can't believe we have names based on GAF nicknames for players. WonderLOL. :D

Yeah, Mazzone is a retard. Whatever, let him rock himself into oblivion. Fucker.

FUCKING TORRE.

Brings in Sturtze AGAIN who proceeds to WALK THE BASES LOADED.

DO WE NOT HAVE OTHER PEOPLE IN THE BULLPEN? HOW ABOUT VILLONE, YOU DIPSHIT, WHO HASN'T PITCHED IN THREE AND A HALF SEASONS?

I'm not really impressed with what the yankees have been doing, they've had the easiest of schdules to start the season, and have faltered up until this last stretch of games.

The AL east looks real competitive this year, I hope the jays are in the thick of things when all is said and done, their schedule gets a lot easier from here on out :D

Fuck out of here with that.

[EDIT: Well-played, Proctor. WELL-PLAYED]

2 of 3 ain't bad.

Yep. But you know what-the games were great this weekend. The Mets have the Braves number, theyre in 1st place.:) So loosing a game today to them, even if its a joke of a blow out is allright. I'm worried about the upcoming 15 games though, that is going to put some real stress on the pitching staff.

Jenks with an easy 1-2-3 9th for the save. We now have the honor of not accounting for half of the Royals' wins this season :)

I laugh in the face of every team who has double digit losses

Dr. Strangelove said:
I thought it was pretty obvious.

Just from the sound? Do you really have to go to Gilbert Godfried to get that sound?

Pretty much everyone I know can do that sound pretty well.

*general bullshit*

Whatever.

We'll see who wins the season series. You can quote this post then, too.
Pray your team maintains its ways; otherwise, it will be the longest summer you've ever had.

And you know I'll take great care to ensure that.

Dodgers offense looked good today.. Kent and Furcal contributing = praise the Lord. Seriously, they need to turn it on already.

Nice to see Aaron Sele with a good debut for us as well.. I hope Odalis is okay -- he was so dynamite for us in his first few seasons but boy has he been a model of inconsistency in recent years.

I hope he gets his 714th tonight. We got a makeup game with them tomorrow with Oswalt pitching. Bonds is 4 for 4 against Oswalt (one of them a HR). I do not want my Astros to be the team to give up this 714th because it's being played in San Fran and they'll stop the game and go crazy. Something that fucks up a pitcher in a game. Never been a fan of stoping the game.

i honestly think bonds would go out of his way (however that may be) to make sure he gets the record at home.

The announcers are saying they doubt he'll play tomorrow

Bonds has been getting boo'ed pretty much his entire career. At this point he is probably used to it and i honestly doubt he gives a shit.

"After the game, both Lima and Lo Duca said that Hernandez told them that he was calling pitches farther off the plate strikes for Smoltz, but not for Lima.

"When the umpire said 'I'm going to give you a couple of inches off the plate, but I'm not going to give you 4-5 inches because you're not John Smoltz,' I'm trying to protect my pitcher," Lo Duca said."

Why is Angel Hernandez an ump at the major league level?

Fans hold "asterisk" signs as San Francisco Giants' Barry Bonds comes to the plate against the Philadelphia Phillies in the fourth inning of their baseball game Sunday, May 7, 2006, in Philadelphia. Bonds hit a single in the inning.

:lol

Yeah I heard something about that too (long trip back to S.F.). Hopefully that is the case but it's hard to leave a guy out of the lineup who's 4 for 4 against the Astro's ace pitcher.

I just got back from the Phillies game - Bonds absolutely crushed that home run.
I don't know if it showed on TV, but while on deck Bonds tossed a foul ball into the stands and it got thrown back onto the field

:lol That is a good man
