Fucking cubs are hard to watch right now. They cant hit for shit and it seems that the pitchers either pitch a wonderful game or get fucking rocked for 7 runs. For the Mets fans they called up Alay Soler but I have a different scouting report from a guy on mlb.scout.com/

Basically a 2.5-pitch pitcher, 90-95 mph fastball that sometimes straightens out the harder he throws - thus better off in the low 90s where he gets good movement. Low 80s slider with exceptional movement, definitely a plus pitch. Also has a changeup he uses as a 3rd pitch, nothing special.

Overall, Soler projects at this point as either a #4 type starter or, more likely, as a good setup reliever.

Can't wait 'till Thursday - Tis the advent of the "Soler Eclipse" :lol
