I don't know who did the avi bet, but I recommend something out of the Descendants of Darkness avis. Or Gravitation. Maybe Kyoh Kara Maoh. I can get you some samples. :lol
I have to pick something for siamesedreamer, but you're all welcome to submit suggestions.

Went to the game, Halladay was awesome. Another complete game victory and damn does he ever work fast, the game was over in like 2 hours.

Hmm, I don't have a good feeling about tommorrows game with Downs pitching. Oh well hopefully the offense provides enough runs for him.

And LOL at Tavarez giving up the grand slam to the twins, boy does he suck.

Our Savior Chad has been called up for thursday :D

Our savior is up already and has been immortalized. Here are some facts about him:

Lastings Milledge - God among men.

11. Lastings Milledge’s three children will be named Turner, Citizen’s Bank and 'Chipperer'.
19. A-Rod no longer has a crush on Derek Jeter. He is now obsessed with Lastings Milledge.
22. Lastings Milledge only took #44 because he's waiting for jersey #666.
48. Lastings Milledge doesn't take strikes. He temporarily falls asleep at the plate to rest up before his next big hit.
52. Civil War cannons were nicknamed "Lastings Milledge's Arm."
60. Lastings Milledge traded Kaz Matsui to the Colorado Rockies.
71. When Lastings Milledge threw Nomar Garciapara out at second, he was aiming for Nomar's head.
110. Lastings Milledge did not come to the Mets from AAA, he came from Krypton.
128. Lastings Milledge knows how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a Tootsie Pop.

This is F'CKING AWESOME. Read them, my fellow Mets fans.

My Lastings Milledge facts:

1. Lastings Milledge actually invented the Galorian in Back to the Future, but Doc stole it and Lastings ordered him killed.

2. Milledge's presence on the mound has been known to make grown pitchers beg and Derek Jeter squeal.

3. Lastings' arm has been classified as a lethal weapon by the NYC Boxing Comission.

4. When answering who came first, the chicken or the egg, the answer is Lastings Milledge

5. Lastings Milledge knows the words to "Louie, Louie" and "Chacarron Macarron"

6. Lastings Milledge really knows if video will kill the radio star.

7. Lastings Milledge is so virile he can make women pregnant by having a erection and a woman brushes up against him.

8. Lastings Milledge once shot the moon. Literally.

9. Japanese anime has become accepted in America because Milledge said he watched one before.

10. Lastings swung his bat so hard hitting the HR off Armando Benitez he went back in time to help the Allies win WWII by designing the A-bomb. He got back by swinging lefthanded.

In a half inning, he almost dropped a popup, misplayed a ball, and struck out with RISP.

Yeah, keep it up fans, this guy'll be a basket case before the All-Star game. Somewhere, Chuck Knoblauch is crying.

Jeff Kent was activated, Eric Gagne disabled, Chad Billingsley promoted, Joel Guzman demoted, Odalis Perez moved to the 'pen and Jae Seo injured on Tuesday night.

:lol

What a crappy game, glad I wasn't home to watch it. Our pitching staff is falling apart, poor Aaron Sele there was nothing he could do. =\

yankees interested in soriano, phillip hugehes could be the trade bait :(

I call b.s. on this. Cashman ain't stupid and Steingrabber isn't running the show (as much). Last thing we need is another "big bopper" non-walking mofo that we let go of because he struck out over 2 thousand times in one playoff run.

Great game between the Reds and Brewers. Dunn hits a walkoff 3 run jack in the 11th.

:lol Leave it up to Dan Kolb to serve up the only runs scored in the entire game.

they're definitely interested in a bat, without a doubt. there's been rumblings of abreau, burrell, griffey, dunn, and now soriano.

just thought I'd throw out how excited I am to finally go to my first game tomorrow (Nats-Rockies...meh). My boss at my marketing job approached me and told me that I needed to talk to her in a conference room. But then she just told me I was doing a good job and asked if I wanted seats right behind home plate for tomorrow's day game, which also means I dont have to work tomorrow. In two weeks, I also get to see the first game of the Mets/Yanks doubleheader...should be good.

I haven't been following too much baseball so far this year because I was wrapped up in following the Pistons downward spiral in the playoffs. Do the Rockies have anyone worth watching?

Todd Helton is their big money guy, Clint Barmes might be worth it from the standpoint he would've been the runaway ROY is he hadn't broke his leg last year, and Jamey Carroll looks interesting. That's all I know about the Rockies so far...

Hey Link, should I PM you my avi suggestions or post them here? The Milledge and Zod one could be good.
Just post them here; we can have a general vote on it.

The Milledge and Zod one becomes unreadable when resized, plus I think something more embarrasing would be more fitting, heh.

One day we're going to read about Slappy hanging from a noose in his living room.

Also, the Indians suck. Getting shut down by Wang and the Big Eunuch is sad.

:lol :lol at this philly defense...

WOW
You know, I was discussing this with a friend, but I don't think a player should be given an error for dropping a ball in foul territory. At least not right away. It's not like anyone gains a base on the play.

I'd say that if the batter does end up reaching first base or advancing runners, then yes, the error should be granted, but otherwise, there was no damage done.

Red Sox offense is HORRIBLE. Radke has an ERA of over 6 for ****s sakes!

I am not having fun.

P.S. - I hate Matt Clement and his menstrual cycle.

Ahaha, nice finish for the Braves.

Jeremy Hermida reaches on a fielder's choice, fielded by pitcher Mike Remlinger. Reggie Abercrombie scores. Chris Aguila to 2nd. Throwing error by pitcher Mike Remlinger.

Wow, the Phillies vs Mets game came on an hour before the Stros game did and it's still on while the Stros game finished about 20 mins ago. WTF?

:lol at the Boston vs. Minnesota game at the Metrodome.

Some guy ran onto the field and ran the bases. The Boston bat boy tackled him at home plate :lol

Also, the Twins hit their 6th grand slam of the season in tonight's game. Anyone know what the single-season major league record is for a single team?

Blue Jays win, pretty good game and surprisingly the bullpen did pretty well. Tommorrow is Lilly vs. Cabrera, Cabrera shut us out last time so I don't have a good feeling about tommorrow's game.

Furcal has more errors in 62 games than he did last year in 152 for the Braves. What. the. ****. TRADE HIM and keep Izzy..not like any team would take his ****ing huge salary. Stupidass decision to sign a guy who hits for average (well except this year..) for 13 million a year.

How long until Kemp becomes an everday player? I know the Dodgers OF is stacked, but he's clearly one of the top 3.

Oh Furcal....I'm so sorry. I can honestly say I share in your pain as I drafted him somewhat high in my fantasy league. Sure that doesn't punish me for his errors (which have been awful) but aside from a few games this season he has just been a total letdown. As if his .248 average wasn't bad enough, he's been caught stealing 6 times compared to only 13 steals.

After that recent 2 HR game from him, I thought he had turned the corner...I guess not.
