So how does the rotation work out for the washington series? Tuesday Burnett, Wednesday Lilly, Thursday Halladay? or does Lilly go before Burnett? Where did you hear they're skipping Janssen's next start?

Not the most reliable of sources the Sun, and it would go Burnett Lilly Halladay. Than Janssen Towers Burnett for the Philly series. Truthfully I would rather have Janssen pitch against Washington.

Hey, we're on Braves Bullpen 2: Electric Bugaloo now! We've won 2 of 3! We're making a comeback to mediocrity! Look out 3rd place, because we're on our way!
*checks standings*

Hey! You're right! If this keeps up, we might even be able to make it to second!

and still have a sub 500 record

It must suck to be an Astros starter. Worst bullpen ever?

Problem is, I actually really like this bullpen in it's current state, beyond the unbeliveable crazy **** damn shit that went down this series.

Borkowski: guy with good composure and can give you a solid single inning or long relief outing
Nieve: seems to finally have figured out how to pitch at the ML level and can give a number of innings from the pen, not to mention great stuff
Miller: better than Gallo.
Springer: solid middle relief
Qualls: GREAT stuff, intense, great against lefties, just stop giving up key home runs late in the game please :(
Wheeler: very good stuff, great composure, maybe not as good as he was last year but definitely better than he has been so far this year.
Lidge: I love Lidge, seriously...the asshole needs to figure out what the **** his problem is, though.

Jesus Christ I am so ****ing pissed and I don't know where else to put it, so here it goes!

I am in a fantasy league with a very good team in a league where my friend is the commissioner, and all trades go through him. I've been trying to move some pitching, which I have a surprising amount of, for some extra bats. The guy's brother wanted Roy Oswalt and I would get Alfonso Soriano, but I also wanted Chien Ming Wang, because an arm is an arm. So I offered Roy-O and someone else for Soriano and Wang, the ****ing commish rejects it! I tried Roy O and Paul Konerko for Johan Santana. Same ****ing deal! He says I am trying to fleece people, I'm like bullshit, everyone else wants pitching and I have more than what I need. Whatever, I decide that I will just pwn the rest of the season.

Today I wake up and he makes a deal with his brother. Todd Jones and his 1-5, 6.83 record for his brother's Andy Pettitte. HELLO, YOU JUST FLEECED YOUR BROTHER AND NO ONE ELSE COULD SEE IT! ARAEOGUIEHSGOUHDSGH.

****ing ridiculous!

This is why you must INSIST next year before the draft that all trades be approved by league vote rather than the commish. It's how I do it in my leagues, then people just have themselves to blame.

Did anyone watch this minor league manager's meltdown yet?

He goes berserk, Lou Pineilla style. It's almost like a parody in its absurdity. :lol

I love his response:

"I thought the strike was over," Mikulik later told the Herald-Leader. "When will the real umpires show up? That's what I want to know. ... I just wish the umpire's association would train their young men to have a personality. I could get two mannequins at Sears and umpire better than what I saw this whole series."

What the hell does personality have to do with being an umpire? If anything, you'd want them to be as cold and analytical as possible. Then again, this from a guy that's got an obviously excessive case of "personality". Certainly made for an entertaining temper tantrum though.

Oh, and I think I about bit an entire fingernail off watching the Astros meek out what should've been a damn easy win several innings before. Why must they toy with me like this?

Not to turn this into a fantasy discussion, but Todd Jones has more value than Andy Pettitte. Andy has been below average all year, and while Todd Jones isn't an elite closer, he's still the closer for one of the best teams in baseball. Him being 1-5 shouldn't matter.....He has 20 saves. All Andy has is an inflated ERA and WHIP.

Todd Jones: ERA 6.60 | WHIP 1.50

He gets saves, but he's not going to help you with any other stat. And he will not finish the season as the closer with a 6+ ERA

Wakefield isn't going to get a win now, his chances have been Seanezed.

**** YOU SEANEZ. Why he and Tavarez still have jobs is beyond me. Delcarmen and Hansen can do their jobs just as well, if not better.

All this guy does is fail. Why does Francona continue to give him chances in big situations? ****.

If Wake is gonna get a win we're probably going to need Papelbon in the 8th. I lack faith in everyone else in the bullpen.

I knew it.

The Pesky pole giveth, and it taketh away. Blown save, no win for Wake. 6-6. :(

I don't care if Paps blew the save, this is still all on Seanez. I know I shouldn't, but I can't help wishing bad things upon him.

Papelbon looks like he's feeling the lingering effects of his ~45 pitch outing from Saturday.

Is it too much to ask for another walk-off homer?

I guess it is. Well, we're doomed. Tavarez time. :(

Tavarez and Seanez is one game is too much to handle. Tavarez escapes, but that doesn't change the fact that he's a gutless, Freddy Krueger-looking, sack of shit.

****, just get this game over with. Win, lose, I don't care. Thanks to Seanez, our bullpen is being burned up right before a big series with the Mets. That's just fantastic.
