Tell ****ing Matlock and DM not to make new ****ing topics because they want their names attached to a thread with a large number of replies and you have yourself a deal.

I am hoping the Yankees get their heads out of their asses tonight, the BoSawx are playing the incredible Orioles.

Hell do we even have any freakin Oriole fans on this board?
Are you the Man from ****ing Brooklyn?

And how do you do that "Who Posted" thing?

On another note, Ken Williams annoys the hell out of me.

Mets fans included you, Angelus, PuertoRicanJuice and brooklyngooner, too.

But no one really posted, since you guys sucked and it was funny. :lol

Ha, yeah I went back and looked at some 2005 posts. All of the usual suspects are accounted for.

Garza was picked after Ricky Romero in the 2005 draft. Who woulda thought that he'd get to the majors so quickly, and perform better than Romero. The Jays haven't had any luck with their pitching draft picks since the days of Halladay and Carpenter. McGowan,Rosario, Purcey,Romero.. well i still think we should stick with them, even though McGowan/Rosario are out of options. Just keep them in the pen next year.

It is probably to early to give up on them. Remember it took Halladay and Carpenter quite some time to get good at the major league level. I remember how Blue Jay fans turned on Halladay in 2000 saying he should be traded like they are doing to McGowan now. Purcey just needs to regain his control and I really do not know what Romeros problem is, I do think he is pitching injured, that is the only way I can explain his lack of Ks.

Well if he owns you, I wouldn't feel too bad. The kid is supposed to be a stud.
Here in Minnesota, he's been compared to Liriano and Santana for the last few months on the twins broadcasts and in the papers.

If Garza can be anywhere near as good as Santana and Liriano at the major league level-- holy shit. That is going to be one formidable rotation for years to come.

What happened to the MLB '04 threads? I can't find them...

Why is it that only corny game threads get archived in the archive forum but none of the sports threads? :x

Until this year I used the off topics forum maybe a few times. Ofcourse that all changed when some crazy mod kept banning me a few times in game threads so I decided to join in on the baseball discussions more often. But I do remember reading a few baseball topics last year, god the Met haters were disgusting. This year though theyre quiet...wonder why.:lol

And I can't stand those uniforms the Mets are wearing tonight, they look like Atlanta Brave jerseys.

Wow, Ponson makes Lidle look good. Horrendous pitching so far. Yankess really can't afford to lose games when Mussina, Wang or Johnshon pitch :lol

The Jays are breaking Garza in quite nicely.

P.S: Konex, just admit you're from Michigan and cheer for the Tigers during their once in a lifetime season. The last thing the world needs is another Yankee fan.

"GAFBall tonight has a shocking revelation. Noted Yankee poster and forum malcontent Evil Solrac v3.0 is on the verge of being brought up of charges of excessive spamming and post inflation, possibly as early as Monday. Harold Frankman Reynolds will have more on the story tonight at 11, as this comes on the heels of his 500th post. Stay 'tooned."

i dont comment on hearsay and such, i think there is a concerted effort by certain parties to have me traded to another forum to generate controversy. that's all i'll say on that.

It's the ****ing jerseys man... They ****ed with the team's mojo...

Yep-we looked and played like the Braves with those ugly things tonight.

Hopefully its back to orange plus there's John Maine tomorrow, looking forward to seeing him pitch. Probably without the flug bug messing with his pitch count this time around too.

They were due to lose one. However, I expect 4 out of the next 5. They can win the next two and take 2/3 from the Phils.

Honestly, who cares. You could play under .500 ball the rest of the way and still coast away with the division. The problem with that is that you don't want to be playing bad baseball going into the playoffs. It tends to carry over.

Homers.

Nats annoucers are second worst just behind the Marlins, damn.

Actually, the Nats announcers are awesome. And by awesome, I mean hilariously bad. The color commentator is the most incredible homer I've ever heard. The first time I heard these guys, I thought some fans won a broadcast-for-a-day contest.
