He should have told Willie what was up before the game, but then again maybe he thought he was going to shake it off as the game went on,obviously that didn't happen.
Honestly, it wouldn't have mattered. Our offense didn't do shit tonight, and Oliver gave up another 7 ERs after coming into the game.

Francona and Hale did all they could to cost the Sox tonight's game, and it worked. What the hell was Hale thinking sending the runner when they were down 3 runs? Oh, and there's a decent chance the deficit wouldn't have been that large had Francona not tried to squeeze two innings out of Rudy. You have thirteen ****in' pitchers on the roster, don't be scared to use some of them (except Tavarez, leave him on the bench).

GQ Brady is angry that managerial incompetence gave him his first loss.

Chipper being hurt so much has just killed us.

Its a totally different line up when he's in there.

Yeah, I liked his 3 homer game tonight. Diaz breaking the NL record for most consecutive hits was pretty sweet as well.

Oh NOMAH you sexy beast, It's about time you awoke from your slumber. Argh, missed opportunity to blow the game wide open there.

UGH! ERROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORS!

YEAH BABY!

:lol
Dodgers

Infield Hits - 110
Homeruns - 101

:lol

Yippee!!!!

Its a 5 game Red Sox/Yankees weekend series. Let the ESPN ejaculations commence.

They are showing Friday's day game, Sunday night's game, and Monday's day game. Throw in Saturday's Fox telecast and you've got one hell of a reason to pick up a new sport.

Seriously, ESPN has taken that rivalry to epic proportions (which I honestly didn't think was possible). I cannot ****ing stand those two teams. I long for the days when the Pirates and Royals were good.......

It'll be a fine day when ESPN and such realize that the sports world doesn't revolve around ARod's 2nd strikeout of the night or what Big Pappi shat out that day.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMAH! 3 RBI's

OMG DREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW!

4-1

Seriously.. I cannot get over how terrible the offense has been with the bases loaded over the past two weeks or so. Must be some kind of record for futility.

Awww crap. I was watching vin skilly annouce the opening of the game when I fell asleep. That nomar blast was great. Good to see Lowe get his win :D

Even I think it's disgusting how much Fox and ESPN build this shit up. I'm sure most of the other Red Sox and Yankees fans here agree with me.

Ugh, Fox Saturday Baseball with Joe Buck and Tim McShithead.

Non-Dodgers fans are giving enough props to the hottest team this side of 1953. :D

one of the morons on WFAN here in new york keeps whinning how he's sick of the dodgers and how they are gonna go over 86 wins and ruin his pre-season picks. god francessa and mad dog are such ****ing worthless losers.

This is more like it baby-Reyes goes deep on the first pitch of the game.

... *watches David Delucci hit a Shea Stadium pop fly that goes two rows deep*

I officially want Citizens' Bank Ballpark blown up. That or start using a humidor on the baseballs. Both Philly homers don't go out in a normal ballpark.

Oops, aren't.

Pads won seventeen of eighteen (IIRC) earlier this season and no one gave them any props either. Baseball Tonight would go like this:
-Red Sox play Devil Rays. OMG what a game!
-What's wrong with the Yankees?
-Stupid stuff
-Oh yeah, by the way, the Padres are really hot right now. Now on to Sportscenter!

I really don't like the Mets new lineup. Nady being gone,Floyd injured,Milledge playing just so-so (move him out of the 8 spot Willie) and Woodward and Tucker playing left, yuck. We have some garbage playing out there and its hurting the lineup lately.

Milledge is killing us in right field,he should have caught that ball and doubled up the runner.
Just another reason to resign Floyd next season, this kid isn't ready to play full time yet.
For now though - Shawn Green and Preston Wilson - where are you?

Your actually looking forward to having Shawn Green on your team?!?! UGH! I'd rather have J.D. Blew in the outfield.

Alrighty, a few days off slow posting due to various factors (Astros bending over didn't help), but now I've gotten everything I was doing finished up (including fixing my cell phone) and I'm ready for my 20 posts performance during tonights game. It's only been done 3 times in history, and I look to be the 4th.

I'm totally off the Milledge bandwagon until he gets his act together. ::changes avatar:: The way he's playing... He doesn't deserve to be my avatar.

This ump is a DOUCHE.

Usually I have my widescreen TV but I watch SD feed for games on the road...but now i'm on vacation and i'm watching everything in non-stretchy vision. Mussina is not quite as fat as I had thought he was.

SIDNEY PONSON STILL IS RAH RAH RAH RAH

Well its obvious Milledge can't play right at the moment. He lets fly balls drop infront of him,he can't make diving catches,so the kid needs to spend some time in the minors playing right while we get someone who can play a decent right field. I'd rather have Preston Wilson and his 180 strikeouts per season for a 2 month rental. Shawn Green is allright, but like Wilson - he could light it up by having a new fire lit under his butt...you never know when these guys go to teams.

I realize Woodward isn't an everyday out fielder but my god he looks lost as hell out there. Our corner outfielders look like the godamn bad news bears.

"Where's Mel Gibson now? He's in rehab and we have a Jewish first baseman. I hope they replay that in rehab Braveheart. Where's your father now, Mel?"

Dennis Leary is killing it in the booth tonight. I think Orsillo is gonna die.

This game is so depressing. If it wasn't for ****ing Greg Norton it'd be a tie game. We're vastly outhitting these scrubs, yet so many runners are left on. ****ing Halladay, ****ing Norton.

When he was in L.A he was always one to let a ball drop in front of him rather than hustle and attempt a diving catch. That was the main reason people really got on him rather than his poor hitting.

I'm getting behind in the count every at-reply. I need to throw strikes in there early to get ahead and start my quest for 20 posts. Astros down 2-0 :(

I don't follow the Dodgers that much but yeah I noticed he looked like he was lagging at times. I guess it doesn't help that he doesn't show any emotion either, makes it hard to see if he really wants to put a full 100% into his play. And I forgot about the cash thats owed to him next year...10 million?
sick.gif

Who's idea was it to sign him for that much cash...wow.

Holy crap at that catch by Polanco. Looked like he hyper-extended his arm or something.
