Richie Sexson AND adrian beltre for Vernon Wells. The offer goes off the table at midnight tonight.

Oh hell no. I don't mind giving up Sexson but Beltre stays. Yeah he won't hit 40 bombs again but he's still way to hard to replace at third.

Sexson I'd rather dump for pitching, I'm really not that hot on Vernon Wells at all.

I'm loving tonight's M's lineup, and effing up Weaver is great. Suck it Rex Hudler!

Oswalt's extension came on his 29th birthday. His extension includes a full no-trade provision. He'll receive $13 million in both 2007 and '08, $14 million in 2009, $15 million in 2010 and $16 million in 2011. The option year is for $16 million, while there is a $2 million buyout.

I'm not a fan of short power guys........that backend when he's 34 and 35 is F-U-G-L-Y!!!

Pathetic.. seriously, how do you only score 1 run on 4 singles and then get 3 outs in a row without doing anything else. The Dodgers have been so terrible this season with the bases loaded... god dammit.

:(

Billy Wagner
Kaz Ishii
Rafael Soriano

I've seen two of these live, both involving the Astros. The 3rd one is just as ugly. :(

Billy and Kaz were both out for extended periods of time...

Safeco is as silent as a tomb... I sure hope it's only a concussion, this could be really, really bad.

They should've shut him down earlier because of his arm, now things could be even worse. Sigh.

Thats a damn wise move considering he had to be somewhat set off with the Astros involving him in potential trade deals at the trade dead line.

And somewhere Jason Smidt must be happy about this news since there are going to be teams going after him even harder in the off season now.

I know I don't frequent this thread at all, as I was kind of late in the game in joining this forum. I am not a Marlins fan at all, but I do have a positive attidute towards them only because I lived in the area. I knew during Spring Training that they were expected to go for 100+ losses. How weird is it that they are now 1.5 games back in the Wild Card? I know the NL is weak overall, but that is still an amazing feat considering what was expected of them.

Why can't Eithier advance the damn runners!

I was just asking myself why there wasnt a bunt on in that situation. =\

WOW! JUST ****ING WOW! What is Little doing out there, is he even awake? How do you not score a ****ing run with 2 on and 0 outs. :lol

Its the effing Dodgers they been doing this all season.

****ing error extends the inning for the Reds.

rc213 gives the Dodger Bullpen a standing ovation. Cant ask for more than what has already been given to them, 9 Innings. Please win this!!!

If D Low hits a HR, I would run out my street screaming like a mad man. :lol

Edit: He walks!:lol

He cant even swing the bat because of the injury, makes it more laughable that he walked.

It seems like the Dodgers are always in these ridiculous games. Add in the west coast factor and you've got live 3 am baseball. :lol

Nothing to watch at this time in the West Coast, so this is kind of nice. :lol

The only bad thing is that the Dodgers are like 1-9 in extra inning ballgames.
