Howard is flat out sick :o and Hudson is his man bitch.
 
I don't think it was so much haters as it was the highest paid player in baseball being in a 1-24 slump, committing an asston of errors, and constantly stranding runners and striking out.

God forbid people are critical of a man making 252 million dollars.

Wouldn't you rather see a perfect game than see the Mets win? Any baseball fan would. Shame on you Frankman. Especially frustrating as that wasn't a clean hit. Oh well. This has been a fantastic series to watch.

I assume you're kidding. NO ONE WANTS A PERFECT GAME AGAINST THEM. Also, no way Everett was throwing out Reyes running from the left side. Kid yourself all you want.

EDIT: Phillies have MANY weaknesses . . . you know what? nvm :D

Dammit they got Green on the grounder up the middle. Mets lose a VERY UNSUAL game. For the 2nd time in their history they lost a game where they allowed 1 hit. The first was Sept 14th, 1991 against the Cards, not suprisingly I remember the game. David Cone allowed a hit to then-Metkiller Ray Lankford.

And it goes to note - No Wright, No Loduca, and No Beltran and you win by the hair of your chinny-chin chin.

Uncharacteristically shitty, I might add. And . . . YOUR TEAM GOT ONE-HIT, MAN!! You escaped!! Yeah your team doesn't fear the Reaper and I wouldn't want to face them in the first round but still, El Duque pitched well outside of the walks and Mets made it close. Also, at this point of the season Glavine IS one of our worst guys on the mound - way I see it.

Wandy vs. Guy coming off 16-day layoff w/circulation problem = Pretty Even
Hirsh vs. Maine = Two hardthrowing studs
Oswalt vs. El Duque = Oswalt

From that comparision you'd think you would've done better.

Now for the REALLY INTERESTING battle - Mets vs. Braves

LET THE BODIES HIT THE . . . FLOORRRRRRR!!!!

Id take a shitty Glavine over Wandy any day of the week and Maine has been far more impressive than Hirsh has been at the major league level.

It doesnt sting anymore Joe,the pain is gone.
