I'm contemplating it...seems only upper level tickets are available...

Who would they play in the first round? Yankees?

If they win the wildcard then yeah, Yankees. If they win the division crazy stuff happens because they can't play Detroit in the first round so I dunno what happens

Since the Astros and Cards have gone back and forth with the division/Wildcard the past 8 years...

If the #1 and Wildcard are in the same division...

#1 plays #3
#2 plays Wildcard

So, barring a Yankee implosion and the A's taking the #1 spot...

AL Central winner plays Oakland
Wildcard winner plays New York

Edit:

The convenience fee is $12.00 per ticket strip. Total Convenience Fee for 8 seats : $96.00
Total Price for 8 seats: $456.00

:lol

****ing Ticketfaggots

Probably not high because I easily got tickets to all 3 ALDS games
I'm surprised things aren't totally sold out, but I know my friend said all the GOOD SEATS were sold out within a day. People up here love the Twins, MN, ND, SD, MT, MB, IA, etc... but people up here are also pretty conservative with money, so lots of them probably won't want to buy until they know it's a for sure thing.

Jesus, Miguel. You got a goodamn Mankey in your tag. Admit your Japanese anime allegiance!!!

F joo Chris Duncan.

edit- Huff!

Man I really hope the A's can clinch at home tomorrow, just to stick it to the Angels...

LUKKKKKKKKKE THE FORCE IS STRONG WITH HIM...walk off GW 3run hr.

Cards choking big time.

LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE!!!

Man he's been the biggest surprise for the Astros in quite a while. Berkman and Scott make a good 1-2 punch ;)

Luke must play a full season next year.

Will he still be eligible for Rookie of the Year or has he played too much this year?

Howard won it for only half a year of playing. So it's possible. Not likely though, but damn he is my rookie of the year regardless. Such a great looking ballplayer.

What the hell has happened to Brad Penny in the past 1.5 months or so? Jesus, he's been so inconsistent. You figure a chance to win the Cy Young would motivate you...

Padres tied the game against the Pirates and now the Dbacks have the bases loaded. Ugh.

does anyone know what times the playoff games will be? i dont want to get division tickets and have it be a day game, that would just suck.

Playoff games are always primetime. Usually 8pm EDT.

EDIT - Actually, some games may be at 4pm if two games are scheduled for the same night.

well a few years back the yanks/twins played a 1pm day game at the stadium. its unlikely the yankees WONT be in primetime but it is possible.

im sorry bizarro-world pettite fans, but there's no way the astro's are getting in.

i hope the phillies get the wild card because they're beatable. i'd be scared of the dodgers. but on the flipside a yankees/dodgers world series would be pretty cool...but still terrifying.

It's possible. Astros win tommorow and are only 3 1/2 games out. It'd be a huge choke by the Cards, but there is hope

Like the ****ing Mets or Yankees would play daytime playoff game.

Where the **** have you been the last decade?

Wildcard? We don't need no stinkin wildcard, we're not worried about the Phillies. We're taking on the Cards! :)

Stros have a better chance at winning the division than the Texans have at winning one football game.

hey dickbag, if you would have read my second post on the topic you would have realized that the yankees in the last 3 years have played at least 1 day division series game. it might have even been 2 but i dont remember. and whats gonna happen when the yanks and mets play on the same day. 1 of those games will most likely be in the day.

I am really starting to hate that fat bastard almost as much as I hated Odalis. Atleast Perez didnt go around claiming to be the Ace on the staff and then go out and pitch a shitfest when he is most needed. Dodgers are doomed, I say give Penny's spot in the starting rotation to Big Lurch. :lol

Hong-Chih Kuo is giving me a stiffie again, He should've been 3-0 coming into this game as a starter but Grady Little made sure that wasnt the case.

DAMN YOU! Kuo almost hit a homerun and then they hold him when he could've scored easily. Double Play confirmed!
