Tough night tonight.
FMT beat me pretty good, and it was due to several reasons. My rustiness, Troy Smith getting injured in the first half, bad breaks, and great gameplan by French.He had the ball like 12:00 mins to my 6:00 or so. Ran the ball religiously, and capitalized on turnovers. Losing 23-0 sucks, but I know I did not play me best while FMT did. I'll see you in the playoffs... Needless to say I was pretty pissed about the way the game went. That only meant bad things for Vumpler....
I played him right after I lost to French, and I straight up dominated his ass like none other. He would control his receivers to catch the ball which should be illegal (CALL HIM ON IS COMMISSIONERS), and that was the only reason he had two offensive touchdowns. He got killed 72-35. 215 rushing and 4 TDs from my featured back along with plenty of picks and fumbles returned for touchdown was the reason. I did not run up the score. And Ginn was hurt the whole game. I guess Stooge is next...

OSU got the momentum from the start of the game. We had a problem with my controller after it hit the ground really hard after a OSU momentum caused fumble of my QB... So the game was 14-0. Then the game booted me for extensive delays. We started it again on the conditions that he started with 14 points... This screwed my game plan because it took running out of the playbook since he started off with a quick 7. Then it was up to mr whoever QB (since bomars out for the season and its a sim leage I don't use him) and he made some bad throws. I don't see the issue with the controlling your receiver? If you can't do that then why should you be able to control your DB? Same thing. Way more bogus for you to control your DB on that standpoint, you can get the swat/strip over a catch literally 100% of the time... Catching it on your own is 100% legitamate when they control their DB and he's outrunning your WR when the DB's speed is lower than my WR. When I control the WR I can use his full speed and giddy up he catches the balls he's supposed to.
Regardless it got out of hand by the 3rd, I was forced to throw deep and he continued to run the corner blitz. And since my line couldn't hold up (for some odd reason?) I was forced out of the pocket over and over... Pretty annoying when you don't really have a scrambling QB. I didn't see him do anything impressing. Definitely seen and beat better players. Just he got the momentum and ran with it.. Not much to say about that. I don't think homefield plays a factor in ncaa but it seemed like it tonight lol.

Let me just say that the stats on League Daddy will tell the story.
Ginn was hurt and only had 2 catches for 6 yards
Troy Smith only threw for 200 yards and 2 TDs
My back had 216 yards rushing and 4 TDs
I had 5 interceptions including one returned for touchdown
I forced two fumbles both being returned for touchdowns.

Up by 40, you should try NOT to run those INT's all in for TD's. Get down to the 10, then straight run it into the end zone, chewing up clock. Though, after 4 INT's for TD's, I'd do something different than whatever he was doing.

there is a lot of he-said-she-said banter going back and forth. i'm quite sure everyone involved wants me to ban shawnhann based on the final score. i'm not going to jump to conclusions shawnhann, but that is a few times people have complained about you running up the score. now given the facts i have i'm not entirely sure you did it maliciously all game. but you have to know 72+ points is a little ridiculous. so here is my solution. if i see another score like this from you (i'm talking 60+ points in a blowout) a couple things will happen:
1. banned from playoff play
2. no team in the madden league
i don't really care if someone is fumbling the ball to you at the 1 and you can walk into the endzone. down the ball, run the clock out. now to those of you who say "You said no tolerance douchebag!" i will explain myself. first off, picks and fumbles returned for TD's played a part. if the score was 50-35 no one would notice a score run-up. secondly, i have played shawnhann twice and i did not see anything outlandish. again, it is word vs. word and i can't just say **** it you're out.
shawnhann i think you are a good, dependable player and i want you to be in the madden league as well as finish this league. but you have to know when you see the score approaching 60 you need to take your foot off the gas. i'm not an unreasonable man which is why i got your side of the story as well. please don't put me in the position of having this discussion again.
i put in a lot of work on this league and in madden. i also pay for it. and i don't ask any of you guys for money or help with the schedules or anything else really (i have 2 extra commissioners to edit game stats and so on when im not around). and all i ask is that you play sim ball and obey the rules. so if all league members could play sim ball and obey the rules as a favor to me it would be appreciated

WTF? What drama and what's there to lie about? You won by 51 I personally don't think its because of anything YOU did. You got 1 pick yourself the rest you controlled the guy after the pick, don't flatter yourself. You passed over the middle well, and I had bad timing on the swat button. Not a big deal. I talked the game I knew I could back up, and shit happens. When your QB fumbles twice in the same play and you pick it up for a TD, there's not much I can do about that, when you lateral the ball to a empty backfield for god knows what reason, and my guys don't move while 3 seconds later your DT picks up the ball and runs it in for 5 yards there's not much i can do about that. I know if you make it to the playoffs and don't get beat and we meet in the finals, you won't be so lucky (hopefully) and it will actually have something to do with how each of us play. I had to pass to catch up from being down 28 in the first (adding your 14 from the original game) it's not hard to defend when you know their passing every play and my line wasn't blocking. That's the game you can talk your little game however you want. At least I know what you mean when you talk about "dominating" someone. I know you mean ohio state did its thing with full momentum for the game. Regardless we'll play again and I'm not losing next time. Get a better connection too

As far as refuting your other points, it is pointless. You are fabricating a story, when the stats obviosuly show otherwise. The other game was going the same way early in the first quarter before you had "controller problems", but I did not even touch that suspicious deal... I find it funny you are calling me out on my alleged bad connection when you were the one having "technical issues" with your controller. You are classic...
