I honestly think we should drop the weekly voteing and allow week overlaps. As in you can play weeks 2,3 and 4 at the same time. For example if all 3 of those weeks were availible now, at the end of this 3 days period game 2 should be completed and game 5 should be added. So we always have 3 games we could be playing and entering stats.. The league just seems to slow because I know once madden comes out *waves bye to NCAA* and at the rate we're going (if we keep this up) we won't have the playoffs until around the 25/28th

note to MY week 2 opponent: Im going to be out of town sat/sun/mon, so we can get our game in before then, or possibly on Tues if it doesn't fark up the rest of the schedule.

I'm so disgusted with playing online against regular people. It's disgusting. All people do is 1) run 20 yards back like their vick or young and throw it incredibly deep across the middle or 2) run 20 yards back like their vick or young and throw it on an across the middle route but run back there long enough until they reach the other side line...

That's the only reason I didn't sign up. Sure, I'm not a big fan of the pain EA's NCAA delivers every year, but I need a football fix! Oh well, I'll take it out on all of you with the Raiders come Madden time! I'll just play my Madden seasons 'till then.

CB complained about this issue a bit when he got blew out by me. The main point is that this really will not matter one way or the other in determing the outcome of a game. I am going to do my cone passing by using the left trigger to initiate it. This rule change will only mean that I have to tap my right analog stick just to turn it "always on." It will not change the fact that I will not use the analog to move my cone. I am against the "always on" because it will be yet another button press to get in the way of focusing on the game. Add in the lag that gets bad in some games, and this change can make game super frustrating.
I will follow whatever we decide, but this is just straight up pointless in my opinion.
I like the option where as long as you use it, its ok. I get sacked often enough without adding to the time needed to throw.
I am leaving early thursday for Yosemite. I will be back Sunday evening. I might have some spare time tomorrow night to play a game if Archaix can play. Otherwise, I can't play until Sunday or Monday night.

I'm just gonna pick my top 25 from the team stat rankings. It seems pretty solid and with all games played for a week, it should be pretty accurate. Obviously this is assuming everyone keeps pace.
PS: From the last NBA league, letting folks play ahead hurt the league as there was little pressure on the slowpokes to get their games in..

Kick Return TDs - Iowa, Ohio State (one player has 1 KRA, and 2 KRTDs)
Punt Return Attempts - Oklahoma
Punts - Iowa
3rd Down Percentage - Utah, FSU, Iowa (all three have reversed your attempts and completed)

FMT needs to fix the Punting Average (you've got the numerator and the denominator reversed)

So whats the official rule on the cone? it seems you little girls (and when i say you, i mean the league in general because i dont know who voted on what) want to take the easy way out with the cone and only use it right before passing . I mean hey, i guess ill go with what the majority wants, but ill tell you guys right now your going to regret it. i will burn people alive if this is the final say in the passing game

Seriously, I would've had like 350+ passing yards in week 1 if I didn't have to use the cone until I threw the damn ball.
So once again my Arch-Nemisis (Lonestar) and myself have a drama-filled game.
With Lonestar up 1 with less than a 40 seconds (I think) I get the ball after he went 3 and out from his own 10 yardline (after he once again userpicked a TD pass from me). I move the ball up the field with 2 completions and I'm using hurry up cause I have no timeouts left. I hike the ball and hit the left trigger and the A button to turn the cone on and accidently throw a duck off my back foot to the A reciever (I must have not had the left trigger in far enough yet). Lonestar's DB intercepts the ball and runs the thing back for a TD. While he is running back I let him know that "I'm walking away". I get up toss my control on the couch and go to the bathroom. While I'm taking a leak I can hear the annoucers still talking and they shouldn't have been cause his interception return would have run out the clock. So I zip up and come running downstairs to see that I have the ball and have 7 seconds left on my play clock. I got a gift P.I. call that called the play back, moved me to the 5 yardline and gave me another chance. I scored on the next pass and won the game.
Drama I tells ya.
We had a pretty crappy connection. Both of us got scored on due to lag and I threw 3 interceptions with my WRs "Mario Running" into the back of the defenders and therefore not being able to complete their routes. I hope we don't see that same animation issue with Madden.
Oh well I got a win. Pretty lucky considering the mistakes I made and that Lonestar was using a team he had no experience with (and that had no shotgun formation).

Ok, had that Userpick for a TD called back on a PI, then waited for True to show back up. Finally did, and I believe I Userpicked him again, right? I know I had 2 PI called Picks, just can't remember when.
Oh, and they never called PI on ND. It happened 2-3 times, but I'm the one getting all the penalities! GAME IS RIGGED!
Really, I could have won the game, Minnesota over ND. That would have been something...
