I love Colin Cowherd. Not only is he the smartest man in sports radio(He devotes time to football every single show of the year, this fact can't be disputed), but he just spent ten minutes talking about how much he hates Philly sports fans, and how despite loving the Eagles organization and Andy Reid, that he's cheering for the Falcons "Just so that Eagles moron's life is that much worse."

I hate CowTerd he acts like he was always a Brooks fan...his show is all shock, he tries to stir up ratings...

Also word out of Carolina is Kris Jenkins tore His ACL...the Panthers are already in Midseason Form :lol

i have to say a few things:

1. screw all you a-holes here and all the asshats in the media that said "RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE 49ERS GOING TO FINISH LAST, GOING TO WIN 2 MAYBE 3 GAMES TOPS!" cause guess what bitches we're in first place!!!

2. i told you what would happen to grandma bulger! 7 sacks are sweet. and hey, if you have to put the ball up 56 times to get 300 yards passing be my guest friend.

3. we had NO run game. the rams didn't respect our passing game so they would bring 8 in the box. look what you got rams! what a freaking sweet TD to lloyd.

4. rams had no business being in this game at the end. they'd always get some diving catch on 3rd and very long to prolong drives. oh well, bulger did what he always does in the end

5. i thought our defense played awesome. we gave up yards, but not many points (until the end of the 3rd/4th). that is the kind of D you need to play against a high powered offense.

6. we knocked the SHIT out of the rams receivers, and those guys are the biggest pussies i've ever seen. i know i've said that before but damn all they fucking do is run out of bounds or act like they needed to make a diving catch and go to the turf.

7. soulja, my paypal is radio@mesmerized.org. i'll be sure to buy 49ers related merchandise with that sweet $20

anyways friends THAT is how a game should be. the crowd going wild the whole game, my voice is gone, sunburnt like a motherfucker, and a 49ers win. suck it down niners haters!

8 for 15 in picks this week :( If the Falcons win it will give me 9, not to bad...

Same here except I picked Philly tonight... I'm 7th in the non-weighted group... and in the weighted group I'm #1... Most of the games I was really confident about worked well for me.

Just Confirmed on John Fox press confrence on ESPNEWS Kris Jenkins out for the season...even though we are big rivals, I have alwasy liked Jenkins espically after the 2003 season when , I thought he was the best DT in the League...I hate when injuries happen...

The running game though... 49ers not going to win much more if they don't lock that down.

Yeah, Niners running game was weak as hell, but I thought on some drives they tried to run a little too often. Like 1st and 5 after a penalty, they always tried running. Sometimes you gotta just go for the pass straight up.

me too, the pass was there pretty much all day. claiborne and archuleta are run stuffers first and foremost, and thats what they did. rattay could have put more points on the board had he passed more.

losing JB really hurts our pass d

Anyone know when the Jets season starts? Yesterday was their last pre-season game apparently. Slightly on-topic, I tried to purposely fumble my dinner plate six times last night. On the 1st try, my wife berated the shit outta me and presto, no more fumbles. Hear that, Chad?

NO MORE FUCKING FUMBLES.

And hey, Coles, next time, make believe the ball's a fat, greedy-ass contract, and HOLD ON TO THAT SHIT LIKE A NEWBORN ON A TITTY.

I'd go through all those sorry chumps currently masquerading as my beloved Gang Green, but the pain is too great and I may just bust a vessel. Instead, I will find a silver lining:

Our new Aussie punter looks awesome. Rookie CB/KR Justin Miller looks like he's gonna break more than a few this year. TE Chris Baker looked great--expect a big year from him (though this actually amplifies what a bust Doug Jolley has been so far). Ty Law had an interception and looked fine out there.

Well, that's about it.

One of my co-workers is a Jets fan, and he was so visibly upset about the loss I couldn't even bring myself to trash talk. :lol

Good ol' noodle arm Chad. :lol

simon has put on a few pounds, but he will be back into game shape in a few weeks. Until then he can play 20-30 plays on obvious running downs and help out a lot. He is a HUGE addition to the colts D in more ways than one.

If my colts can stop the run like this all year, i will be in detroit for superbowl xl

A friend of mine brought up this point yesterday about my beloved Jaguars.

Watching them out there, doing some new, effective things on Offense.....it was FUN to watch the Jags play again. There was energy, snap, creativity and hope all rolled up in that game. It set a spark through the crowd and through the players. It was GREAT. Just fun to watch them play again. Last year the defense was stifling but the offense just looked boring and ineffective. This year, it all looks open again. Can't wait to see us take it to Indy! Don't think we'll win, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be a shootout!

Gawd Dammit...If I here one more sportswriter gush over the fucking Saints i'm going to destroy something. Part of me wishes they would have gotten beaten 56-0 yesterday, atleast everyone wouldn't be lining up to kiss their ass. Come on Eli, whoop their ass for me, because I can't take 2 more weeks of the shit.

Well, I'm headed down to the Dome to give McNabb and the Eagles O-Line hell. The anticipation is building each minute. Should be a good game. I need and demand vengence and satisfication.

Bucs and Panthers get fucked over...they have to play the Saints in Baton Rouge but Atlanta gets essentially a neutral game in Atlanta >:/

For once, I am rooting for the Eagles to do the Panthers a favor and make sure we aren't in last place in the NFC South.

Actually, wouldn't you be last place regardless cause you lost to a division rival?

No team can complain about where they play the Saints, the Saints still have to Travel to play at there so called home games in Baton Rouge, remeber they are practicing and living in San Antonio....

FANTASTIC news about Jenkins -- sucks to hear about Javon Walker being out for the season though, had him on one of my fantasy teams. :(

I'm just mad because San Antonio is more of a neutral site than Baton Rouge would be. I would rather have either Miami or Chicago play at San Antonio and have all the NFC South rivals have to play in Baton Rouge, which is closer to being home than San Antonio is.

I told my bro (a fantasy n00b) to go with Favre over Leftwitch yesterday since the Lions D was crap. Needless to say, he was pretty pissed after the games :lol

If the Bears aren't at least 6-3 after the first 9 games I'm going to be disappointed.

vs Lions - W
vs Bengals - W
@ Browns - W
vs Vikings - W
vs Ravens - ? (This is a toss up of two teams which look very similar at the moment. If it was in Baltimore I'd say the Ravens win but the Bears have a chance in Chi Town)
@ Lions - W
@ Saints - W
vs 49ers - W

I have them at 7-2 after these first 9 games at worst. Maybe 8-1. :D

This is the rest of the schedule

vs Panthers
@ Buccaneers
vs Packers
@ Steelers
vs Falcons
@ Packers
@ Vikings

I see no reason why the Bears can't finish at least 10-6 this year.

Bit of an optimist there ;) I say you split with the Lions, lose to the Bengals, Ravens and either the Saints or Vikings giving you a 4-5 record after the first 9 games; just my opinion.

Unless the defense is scoring, I don't see how the Bears beat the Lions next week. GB's offense is MUCH better and they got pwned...

Mr. Bob you are highly delusional if you think streaky ass Kyle Orton is going to lead your team to a 10-6 season. I say your team will be lucky to win 7 seven games which is not bad considering you have a green rookie quarterback.

The NFC North is weak. I see the Bears having a good chance of going 6-0 against NFC North opponents. 5-1 maybe.

GB offense was much better last year.

The GB Oline sucks now with their two studs gone. Favre is going to be running for his life this year.

The Lions didn't impress me in their win over the Packers. They beat a defeated team.
