Umm, maybe berger only had 11 pass attempts because the running game was killer and he didn't play too much of the 4th quarter?

Just hazarding a guess here.

God you know your commentators when I would rather listen to John Madden ramble about ANYTHING then these guys. They annoy the hell out of me.

It was quite painful to watch that 1st quarter while I was sitting at the dinner table and eating without getting up to post... wtf....

Man nice catch with tight coverage.

Our defense is playing well.. god if our offensive was just... competent...for a full drive....

Freeney with another monster game against us, he's owning Ogden... AGAIN.

WTF good job on the coverage Sanders...

Jesus...Dwight Freeney is amazing. What kind of contract does he have?

I'd figure by this year all lineman would have his spin move down....guess not.

freeney is a fucking monster. yikes.

also, stokley is always open because of the threats of Wayne and Harrison, but shit, he has such sure hands.

I'd like to see the Lions get some more offense going.

The North is between Detroit and the Queens.
Packers are running out of gas. Chicago is just terrible and don't even know the definition of a passing touchdown this year.

*snickers at Bears comment*

ARFHGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

CMAC! :( :( :(

I know we did good holding them to 3 here. I'm just not sure if we can get 3 points the way the offense has been.

<sigh> So close... no reason he shouldn't have had that INT.

EDIT: KILL ME NOW.... PLEASE!

really, wtf. after today's performances, the bears have to be right behind the lions.....vikings and packers are god awful. bears were at least respectable.

but have fun in your dream world

Lions will be overconfident after beating the Packers. Makes them easy pickings next week for Chicago.

Bears 34 Lions 3

Book it.

Uh, you put the 4 on the wrong side. You might want to correct that.

Shoot if we had gotten out of bounds with just a sec on that play.... Moore feels uncomfortable out there... wtf?

This Colts/Ravens game is making me sick...hopefully those missed opportunities won't hurt the Colts. One TD would've been devestating the way this game is going.

Packers year just got worse:

Packers | Walker Likely Done for the Season
Sun, 11 Sep 2005 18:35:42 -0700

Updating previous reports, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports it appears Green Bay Packers WR Javon Walker (knee) suffered a torn ACL Sunday, Sept. 11, when he went down in the third quarter of the team's game against the Detroit Lions. Head coach Mike Sherman said, from what he understands, it is an ACL injury. However, the team is not going to make a determination on his status until he undergoes an MRI Monday, Sept. 12. Sherman went on to note that he doubts Walker will be able to return "anytime in the near future." When Sherman was asked if the injury was likely season ending, he replied: "Most of the time."

Knee injury may sideline Walker for season
Journal Interactive
Posted: Sept. 11, 2005

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Javon Walker appears to have suffered a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament of his right knee when he went down with an injury in the third quarter of the Packers' 17-3 loss to the Lions, Packers head coach Mike Sherman said in his post-game news conference. If so, the injury would likely sideline the Pro Bowl wide receiver for the rest of the season.

"It's ACL, as I understand," said Sherman. "You really can't make a determination on that until you get an MRI on that tomorrow. But, he certainly was not able to come back in this ball game - and I doubt anytime in the near future."

Walker was hurt when he caught a 55-yard pass - negated by a pass-interference call on him - and was tackled by safety Terrence Holt.

When Sherman was asked if the injury Walker suffered was likely season-ending, Sherman replied: "Most of the time."

As Walker lay on the turf, he grabbed his right knee. After trainers attended to him for a few minutes, he gingerly walked toward the bench. He was later taken to the locker room on a cart, once shaking his head from side to side.

Walker had four receptions for 27 yards when he left the game.

Complete coverage of this story will appear online later tonight and in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel in the morning.

Manning is such a pimp.

Mike Patrick, nice quote regarding Manning!

"There is only so many times you can stop that guy from burning you to death!"

Ahahahah WHAT. Nice metaphor, idiot.

It's not even the spin move that's killing em, it's the speed. J Ogden looks like a kid out there. Indy on the move.

and what has Boller done in pre-season to instill that faith in us? Nothing.

Well so far this hasn't been his fault, at least not that much We should have 6 points from stover.....c mac should have had that INT.....the blitz CANNOT get to the QB, and moore has been less than clutch.

Plus deion is awful
