Fucking hell.
Remember a few pages back when I said the Eagles would clinch homefield advantage by next Monday? What I really meant was the Falcons. You see, E and F are close to eachother in the alphabet, and once I hit the first letter I just went with the rest of the team name out of habbit, and then I had Eagles and didn't want to change it because I was afraid somebody would see me as being weak on the positions I held.

Oooh, or maybe it's the perfectly legal "dirty hit" that hurt McNabb early.

This game now reminds me of when the Eagles broke out Rocky for the opening game at the Linc and then they went out and sucked 57 flavors of ass.

But if the Eagles are playing with 6 guys inside their own twenty, and I've got one play to try and get a touchdown, and I've got Vick in the huddle, my one play isn't a hail mary. I'm calling a QB draw.
Granted, I'm not an NFL coach, but I've got to think that having Vick try to elude 7 defensive backs who are so fucking confused by the fact that he's running that they're likely abandoning all assignments to try and stop him gives you a much better chance than throwing directly at those players.

OMG Silver lining to the SI cover curse! When SI picked UNC for the title, UNC proceeded to drop their opener against Santa Clara, but came back to win the national title. So Carolina drops their season opener, but will come back to be 11-5/12-4 and win the Super Bowl!

Great play by the defensive end there to hit Westbrook while he was behind McNabb. Three yards upfield, and that's pass interference. He made the hit that caused a fumble, and then his teamates almost screwed it up by watching the ball bounce around and ignoring that they hadn't heard whistles.

Last I checked So. Carolina aren't eligible for the Super Bowl, but there is at least one Gamecock fan around here, it's not Bowser though lol
