What site are you looking at? I found the link to Politico a few pages back. It showed the gap narrow by a hundred or so, nothing major.

Edit: nevermind, just checked CNN. It just narrowed by ~500 votes.

watching cnn. they have 39,991 to 37,660

2331 now. It's not as wide as people say. This thread is like sixty chickens running around with their heads cut off.

How many delegates does NH have? If it's not that much, then Obama losing NH might not be that bad.

Technically, Hillary Clinton was always in the lead. She was leading Obama by 100+ delegates on those charts because of something called 'Super-delegates' (whatever that is).

So the more delegates she wins over others just adds to that lead and reinforces support of these super-delegates.

My guess is what happened is younger voters watched the news ect about how Obama basically had it locked in NH and so the college kids decided they didn't really need to show up.

Thanks. So historically, Iowa, NH, and the other upcoming ones leading to Super Tuesday are good indicators then.

I'm from the UK! But having observed 3 elections so far, I think yes.

2% difference now... come on, Obama. You can do it! Regardless, a good portion of New Hampshire needs to be removed from this country.

The O-BOMB is surging back!

Under 2.5k!

Question about NH: I heard that independent voters can vote in either primary. If this is true, is it possible that McCain siphoned off support that would have gone to Obama? (Not watching any of the coverage, merely because I can't stand most of it.)
I think it is true that they can vote in either primary but according to the number of votes on the Dem v. GOP side, it looks like most independents are voting in the Dem primary.

Allow me to set the stage for you at about 11pm tonight.

Hillary in her victory speech.

A smirking, sarcastic smile on her face.

She nods her head up and down.

The crowd cheers wildly.

Hillary then croaks on the microphone, "They didn't think we could do it, did they?"

She pauses 10 seconds for thunderous cheers.

"They all thought we were done for!"

My head fucking explodes as the most favored, privileged candidate in the entire race tries to paint herself as an underdog and an outsider.

I love election years. :lol :lol :lol

I love the people acting like if Obama narrowly loses this primary that he'll be out of the race for good.

Shoot. I thought that Obama had such a lead that I would vote for Paul instead. >< Ugh.

The results for Lebanon and Hanover haven't come in yet, and this part of the state seems to be pretty pro-Obama. Concord's and Manchester's results have already come in.
