I'm a moderate Republican... I have strong intentions of voting for Obama if he makes it to the general election, but if Hillary gets the nod, I'd vote for anyone that looks like they could beat her.

GAFfers are incredibly partisan, or at least extremely-polarized against a good portion of the US electorate. How does that jibe with the fact that so many are Obama fanboys because he's allegedly a less-polarizing figure who will bring the electorate together? Is it the idea that Obama is soo dreamy he'll convince people over to the far left? Yet Obama is to the right of Hillary on many issues, and inconsistent-at-best when it comes to his positioning on allegedly-important areas like foreign policy. No, there doesn't really seem to be any substance behind this line of argumentation.

MSNBC has always been known to be liberal biased
Didn't know that. Only the legendary FOX News and it's super awesome presenters like O'Reilly and Hannity reached fame on the other side of the atlantic Ocean.

I always felt like Tucker was PRETENDING to be right-inclined.

Oh please stop giving lessons in partisanship, you of all people.

There is a positive side to Hillary taking the nom in February. Means I can all concentrate on school and my job as I will have absolutely NO emotional investment in this race.

Most of the internet is incredibly partisan, it is hardly unique to Neo GAF.

OK, I'm not gone. But I'm curious: I always thought Fred Thompson was kind of a joke. Did he seriously have a chance or something?

People thought he had a shot until they had to hear him talk about his ideas.

It'd mean I have an even larger emotional investment in the race, since if Hillary gets the nod and looks to win it means an even further degradation of the country.

Before he entered the race many talked him up like he was gonna be the next Reagan.

I guess he entered the race and everyone saw what a lazy deadbeat he was. :lol

Sure; I'd argue that the internet in general encourages group-polarization. Yet many here argue the "less divisive" position nonetheless.

Hanover (the precinct with Dartmouth college) is still at 0% and has about 9000 democrats and independents. That's where Obama will make his final stand.

What I like is that within this thread the Obama fans are the nastiest and most polarizing. Not exactly following his lead as I mentioned early.

It's getting close to the stage in the game when it's more about whether people "like" their candidates or not, unfortunately. But that's American politics. I'm amazed McCain didn't beat Bush in 2000, but I guess he was a better cowboy.

I'm in exactly the same situation.

Did Ron Paul throw in the towel yet, or does the internet get 500 delegates?

Ron Paul will never throw in the towel. He's know for a while that he didn't have a real chance. He is there to make a statement and for popularity/momentum.

Am i the only one enjoying this race in NH?

I love it, it's what I hoped for. I didn't want to see Obama walk away with this thing .. I want to see it go down to Super Tuesday.

This type of drama only happens once every fours years, I like it to actually last as long as possible.

South Carolina is going to be fucking interesting. I think it's going to be pretty tight between Edwards-Clinton-Obama.

Both parties are an absolute clusterfuck.
Edwards needs to drop out

In this thread: I haven't called anybody any names. Not called any politicians any names. Not judged anybody on the basis of their race or sex. Nor mind read why people voted. I'll stay on my high horse thank you very much.

Did you know John Edwards's father worked in a Mill?

I hope he mentions it...
