You know what's worst? There's very good hockey being played in Europe right now with about 30% of the NHL players in there and we don't get to see any of it.

I'd even kill for more AHL Bulldogs games on sportsnet. Right now I'm listening to the game though the CHAM internet radio station.

The AHL freaking rocks, especially this season, it has one hell of a talent pool with all the young guns from the NHL playing in their farm team.

I listened to the Hamilton and Roadrunners game yesterday, I think there was 16001 peeps in attendance and Kostitsyn even scored! WOOT! First goal in his first AHL game!

Announcer: "I compare Kostitsyn's release to Dan Marino's release of a football"

Anyways, anyone who can go to a AHL game, go for it, you'll be quite entertained.

granted that was preseason but still, i think its like 20 bucks during reg. season for those seats

My closest OHL team (the London Knights) are doing absolutely awesome so far. Ten straight wins and counting to start off the season. Too bad I work afternoons now, no hockey for me even though it plays on my local Rogers station.

Ha ha, sorry I knew my snide remark might cause hurt feelings. I just don't ever watch ice hockey so it's no big loss to me. I hope for you guys that the strike is over soon and you can be happy again.
