This poster pulses with an appeal so broad the typical restraints of our societies fall by the wayside.
If Pronger can stay healthy and keep up his game for a few more years, the deal won't look so bad. But it's definitely risky to give up two first rounders. Lupul is a decent player, too. I think the Ducks made out pretty good.

Reinsdorf offer is 148M, which after Gretzky's take and the League's take... means basically nothing for a lot of the creditors. This is going to go over well in the papers.

Ah no Tavares, Duchene, Hedman for the Maple Leafs and very likely no Schenn or Kane. Time to start tanking for Hall, Granlund, and Kabanov.

Yeah, they have no excuse to be shitty next season. They hardly did last season, either, but I can understand the coaching debacle.

Not sure what you mean. Just saying that undercutting Balsillie by 70+ million USD is going to be a black-eye from the investment community, especially anyone based in Phoenix.

It was sarcasm. That's what Bettman said about why they don't want Balsille to have the team and move to Canada. Even though they ran out on Quebec and Winnipeg who were in much better shape.

Lupul is a bum so I don't give a damn about that but Sbisa showed potential. Draft picks are draft picks so I am not too upset about that.

I like that Lupul will be back with the ducks btw, good trade from ducks eyes.
