how good is nazem kadri btw? I am just not thinking he is a burke type player, plus he is a muslim. He actually was forced to skip Ramadan for the training camp, I can imagine that was not popular.

Kadri has looked good so far, in that debacle against the Sens he was the only one who showed up. He is highly skilled and he is tough for his size, honestly I don't see how he isn't a Burke kind of player. He isn't soft at all.

we don't know that yet, even though it's likely he won't - he might ratchet up his game big time during the preseason games.

watters and dreger on leafs lunch says that boston GM Chiarelli has to choose one of multiple offers on the table by the end of tonight, or burke is going to make an offer sheet for kessel

edit: Darren dreger just clarified that there is no deadline, just hoping Boston responds to them today

He is, and his father and fathers brother are legends in my book. Though i think that Anton Rödin will be the biggest suprise this year, I just cant believe the amount of energy in his skating.

Any of you guys listen to NHL games on satellite radio? The Stars are switching stations this year and I can not pick up their new station, so I was thinking about getting a portable receiver. Sirius or XM?

EDIT: Actually I'm answering my own questions as Im reading around the internet. Still though: anyone have any experience with listening to the NHL via satellite radio?

Yeah I do it all the time since I get out of class late and miss some games, it's pretty awesome I highly recommend getting it

the game broadcasts are unavailable (pretty sure that's the case with all sports, distribution rights or something), but the nhl home ice channel is online

if hockey night in canada is available online too, i might actually re-subscribe. i cancelled since i no longer commute and the sirius canada sports channel wasn't available online.

Okay, this stream sucks. I'm out.

Also, I don't have HD and have no problem with the picture quality; the camera angle just sucks when it gets to either offensive zone.
